”I hear there’s some kind of battle going on in Manhattan. Two old heroes with a score to settle, the usual. Anyway, the subway’s not going to be here until they give it a rest. Fancy a coffee while we wait?”
-- Battle?
[ Colour him curious. ]
It's a yes to coffee, I'd love to. Perhaps you can tell me more about this almighty battle that's delaying our schedules.
Well sure, but I have to tell you that my perspective might be totally different from yours so. What do you think?
Human error and the inevitability of an ending.
Fine, a compromise it is. But what does the human condition have to do with time? Do explain, handsome.
Not a lot. Though, the question you should be asking is, "what do time and the human condition have to do with death?" And I think that's rather obvious, don't you?
That, my friend, is where you are wrong. Time, is everything. But then, Time is my sister, so. I might be a little biased.
Perhaps we can compromise. Time is a definite factor is as far as I'll go. Though, weighed against the human condition, it's a feather vs. a heart.
is it time for someone to be dead yet.
Time has very little to do with it, I'm afraid.
How do you do it? How do you know exactly the right question to ask?
None of us. None of you maybe, maybe. I know where every little thing is and doors, open on the side that has the hinges.
[ Maybe. Maybe he excludes himself from 'us', and Honey too, probably. There is a staircase and 'us' is sitting on the lowest step, whereas Luke's at least two above. ]
None, some, a few, perhaps.
My doors don't have hinges. Because they don't open outward. That's what I'm saying, here. So if they don't open entirely, do they open at all?
expectedthebird replied to your post:The hard hitting question regarding whether a door...
Door open on the side that has the hinges, I learned that from Maggie Bird.
Physical doors, perhaps. I'm more concerned about the ones none of us know are there.
i logged into this blog expecting luke to make sense for once in his life and naturally, i'm very disappointed
The hard hitting question regarding whether a door always opens both ways, even just for a moment. Perhaps if you close it before it opens, the effect is hardly the same.
That's the one I'm asking, here.
