It was interesting, because Jacob caught himself there. He was originally going to say Rolin was asking if he could get Sam to agree to the secret Loustat exchange.

You know, like Sam won't agree to this stuff unless Jacob is the one who wants it. You know, like how Sam didn't want to do the hissing but gave in because it's what Jacob wanted. You know, like how Lestat cannot deny Louis anything.

Much to think about.

And also? Jacob said Sam told him beforehand that whatever Louis said to Lestat will be canon now to Lestat forever. You know, like Lestat carries Louis' words in his heart forever.

Here's the interesting part.

And Louis says something to Lestat that only Jacob Anderson knows. Lestat nods and then says something to Louis that only Sam Reid knows.

However, when you watch the secret exchange,

Lestat.....doesn't appear to say anything. His lips never form words. He simply melts into sobs again and surrenders back into Louis' arms.

The implications of that.....whatever Jacob said to him.....it flayed Sam as well, because there's no response other than overwhelmed tears.

Again, much to think about. 🫠
