Ive been so overwhelmed i completely forgot to give any form of update to Azure! I am so so sorry
and as an im sorry i give a WIP!
Tiny bit of a sneak peek while i keep trying to push through finishing my chapters!
who knew chapter two would be the hardest chapter to write???

He could feel his model warp, stretch and tear apart as his code broke free, his spine cracking as the code stretched out. His hooves bucking out trying to alleviate the agony, only bringing a white hot static fire through the open wounds, he could FEEL how far the code stretched, how it grew larger and heavier, weighing his body farther and farther to the floor. He couldnt help the whimpers and whirrs that escape his body- his chest screaming for a breath he didnt need, nor that he knew he was holding. It *ITCHES*.
It felt like hours before something broke- a subtle shift over his shoulders. It felt as though alcohol was doused over his wounds, tearing a scream, that shouldnt be possible even for a program, from his throat. Caine arched his back, the sound of shredding filling the air as its followed by the sound of something unfurling, he knows he heard that sound before but as his vision darkens at the edges, the recognition slips from his exhausted mind. His thoughts feeling sluggish and heavy as he tries to regain control from his fading consciousness.
He wraps his arms around his body- the feeling of suddenly freezing engulfing him as he begins to shiver.
It was a valiant effort but in the end Caine topples forwards, his jaws lowering to meet his office’s carpet as his vision leaves him, the darkness stripping him from his tormented model.
Feathers lay littered around his unconscious self, Caine’s new wings lay in heaps on his sides, sticky with tar like blood and covered with cuts or burns, bare. His topcoat torn to shreds over his back as the model tries to stitch itself back together, the attempts halted as the edges glitch and recede leaving the gashes wide open. The new appendages’ code slowly sinking further into the former ringmaster’s, tendrils wrapping themselves tightly in sensitive programs, intertwining and merging itself into Caine, forcefully becoming a part of him. The tendrils quickly find what they were looking for- glowing a soft red deep within the AI’s chest.
The virus takes no time to delay as it whips out and wraps itself tightly around the weakened core. The wings crudely attached to the model jerk and stretch open before they settle once more, pin feathers breaking through the wireframe and settling into their proper layers. The wounds crudely stitched together leaving raised, puffy and white cracks along the back of his model.
This wasn't going to heal quickly…
