Ay @facelesssketcher-notreallynowi i learn in Chess that:
the King: is the vital and the weakest, protected target (only moves in 1 square) but in the end game the king is the most powerful and strongest
the Queen: is the most powerful attacker (long-range, multi-directional)
Rooks: are powerful, long-range linear units
Bishops: control long-range diagonals; Knights are leaping, tricky "L-shape" attackers
Pawns: are front-line, ground-holding defenders that can gain massive strength through promotion
So why you choose The King/Elliot as an king chess piece and what about Leith, Stella, Eddie, and the rest of the emopleyes and the workers of Playtime. Co?
In chess, the king is the most important, as if you get checkmated, you lose the game, and it controls all of the board, another reason as to why I chose Elliot as the king, is because in normal history, well, you know the role of the kings. And I’ve been thinking that the Elliot may not be as strong as his son (mainly due to all of the arms and abilities Ollie has been allowed to have), and in my AU, Elliot uses other toys (that have agreed to serve him) to do his bidding as he does not like getting his hands dirty.
As for the other workers, Elliot does not see them as anything little like a pawn, but little as a rook or a bishop. Except for the Executives, Elliot sees them really differently.
Leith: Elliot sees Eddie like a really aggressive queen, taking down anything in front of it, and doing everything to win the game.
Eddie: M.N is more like a rook not used up until the endgame when a pawn promotes, it destroys the little slimmer of hope and can be the main reason as to why they win the game.
Stella: Elliot and Stella are quite close, so he sees her as a bishop, a force willing to do things for good, but being controlled by a being to do other things.
I made this at school and my brain is really messed up and I have a mediocre headache that won’t go away, so any questions, I’ll clear it up later when I’m at home.
