I have a piece of work coming up in a group show in August. A great concept for a project - Artists create work and then musicians and producers interpret it - flipping the sleeve art process inside out. Music inspired by art rather than art inspired by music.

A Major Minority
Later this month I have a piece in a group show at the 1AM Gallery, A Major Minority, opening on March 14th. Curated by San Francisco-based artist and fellow Transcend member, Poesia, A Major Minority is a survey of Othercontemporary Urban Artists from over 18 countries consisting of over a 100 artists. Expect to see an international sampling of art works that reveal the overall character of Urban Art and its relationship to the public as well as the contemporary art world. According to Poesia urban art has become an OtherContemporary art movement outside of the contemporary and critical art world. By taking a large sampling of the world's most prevalent urban artists, Poesia aims to reveal the true character of this art form as being born outside of theory and based on its interactions with the public as well as its urban landscape. A Major Minority is an attempt to illustrate the current progression of this art form as traditional graffiti merges with street art and becomes what the public has coined Urban Art.

This weekend, I'll be showing a new collection of work at the Gamma Transport Division. The works are all abstracted typographic treatments, focusing on themes of youth, delinquency, and obsessive compulsions.

Slowly, London Fashion Week grinds to a close. Selected pieces of my small contribution to the whole carnival can be seen here. I created artwork for silk-screening, foil printing, jacquard weaves and digital print. The most I've ever done for a collection with Jena.Theo. Already looking forward to working on the next collection.
Long time friend and collaborator of rockGroup, Eric Surmont provided the soundtrack to the show, working under his Dig or Die identity with Noki. Tres cool.
