Finally, for my featured ArtFight characters is Juneau!!

Juneau is my newest OC, and she comes as a duo as well, with River, her girlfriend! I made them super recently, and have become obsessed with their story lol.

Juneau is a werewolf raised by a monster hunter. When her adopted mother is killed during a hunt, she thinks it might finally be her chance to live a normal life. She finds a job tending bar in the small town of Deerfall, WV, and meets River— A bright, bubbly young artist who runs a small gallery and studio space just down the road from where Juneau works. Juneau finds herself utterly entranced by River, and greatly enjoys the warmth of her company. The two of them start a whirlwind relationship. But Juneau, while used to having to hide, does not enjoy the way River treats her around her rich friends. Even while disgruntled by being pushed away, Juneau didn’t help the situation, still hiding her past as a monster hunter, and dealing with her transformations in secret. While at a party at a cabin up in the mountains, Juneau storms out, and Rivers follows. An ill-timed werewolf transformation leads to River, dead on the mountainside, and Juneau flees. But when she arrives home, she finds River. Still caked in dirt and blood, alive and well, but… different, somehow.

River Branach is a perfectly normal human girl. She was born the middle daughter of five, in a wealthy, Southern Baptist family. She moved out to Deerfall and opened the Riverbent Art Gallery on her parents dime, where she was mostly free to do as she pleased— unless her old friends were in town and might tell her parents. She met Juneau at the Lone Pine Tavern, and was captivated by the drifter’s mysterious aura. The two of them started dating not long after meeting, but River was still afraid of being found out by her parents and losing funding for the gallery. So she tended to push Juneau away in public, especially around her rich friends. But she still wanted to be with Juneau, and sometimes the other woman’s secrecy about her past and current activities left River frustrated. While at a party hosted by one of River’s friends, Juneau snuck away, and River followed her, where she watched as her girlfriend transformed into a grotesque beast. Fleeing, River tripped and fell down a ridge, cracking her head against a rock and dying shortly after. Only… she didn’t. She woke up, hours later, her head foggy… she thinks she’s still River. And she needed to find Juneau. She was hungry… so, so hungry. And the wolf could do something she couldn’t: Hunt.

So now Juneau and this “New River” have to contend with River’s appetite for raw flesh (that Juneau has to hunt for her), the ghost (or traumatic hallucination?) of Juneau’s mother, and a cult that is convinced River is the incarnation of their subject of worship (they aren’t wrong). Toxic doomed yuri shenanigans ensue.

Darius Bowman from Camp Cretaceous is heavily implied canon aromantic, and possibly asexual as well!

Saiki from The Disastrous Life of Saiki K as implied aromantic AND asexual. He never shows interest in any character, so it’s largely accepted by the fandom.

Connor Hawke from DC as canonically asexual, as there’s an official drawn poster of him with the asexual flag!

Max from Miraculous Ladybug as canonically asexual! I am unsure if this is said explicitly, or just confirmed by the creators. Same goes for Alix, who is canonically aromantic!!

Monkey D Luffy from One Piece is popularly headcanoned aromantic AND asexual by the fandom!

SpongeBob is canonically asexual as confirmed by the creators, and literally bc sponges are asexual LMAO

Mousefur from Warriors is popularly headcanoned aromantic AND asexual by the fandom, as she is a she-cat that is never interested in getting a mate.

Caduceus Clay from Critical Roll as canonically aromantic AND asexual! I don’t watch so I unfortunately don’t know if it’s talked about it canon, but it has been confirmed.

IT’S KIERAN TIME, BAYBEE!!

Kieran is my superhero OC from a collaborative worldbuilding/roleplay project with a bunch of my friends! He is the worst and he’s barely a human being because of the way he was raised, and I love him so so dearly. My bouncing baby boy. My hefty bag of vegetable soup.

Kieran was born and raised to be Invulneraboy! His father, Kyle Ward, aka Lightbeam, used proprietary technology to engineer a son with a perfectly complementary power set to his own. Kieran was born into a loving home, and trained to use his abilities from an early age. By ten years old, he had made his debut as Lightbeam’s sidekick, Invulneraboy! Invulneraboy was a darling in the spotlight. He starred in comic books and advertisements and was a regular teen heartthrob as he got older. Until one day, an accident left Kieran severely injured and hospitalized. Not a month later, Lightbeam debuted his replacement- a ten-year-old boy nearly identical to Kieran, wearing his suit and using his name. Kieran was crushed.

After a year or so in recovery and physical therapy, Kieran received a text message from Sole Affini, a former associate of his father’s. She offered Kieran a place on a team of vigilantes she was putting together, elsewhere in the city. He jumped at the chance, and moved out of his mother’s penthouse immediately.

Now he runs around the city with a ragtag bunch of upstart superheroes, fighting crime and supervillains, avoiding his vigilante rival, the Doctor, and trying to prove to his father that he still deserves to be a part of his team.

My beautiful, captive unicorn turned princess, Elodie, and because they are pair bonded and cannot be separated, her loyal bodyguard and sworn knight, Arianne!

Elodie was a unicorn who was captured by a childless king and queen as a fawn, and forced to live in the court as their child, crown princess, and court magician all in one. But such a creature was not meant to be kept tame, and so they grew sick, slowly wasting away as the years went on. The king and queen built them a massive garden, growing wild and free for them to tend to and roam as they pleased, but even this could not cure their mysterious ailment.

The princess also had a bodyguard, a former mercenary hired by the king both to keep an eye on the unicorn, and on the mercenary herself. She was dangerous, and just as wild as the princess. She had been cursed in her youth by a witch, and the magic that coursed through her made her a formidable foe indeed. She hated magic kind, and had sworn revenge against them all. But Arianne was soon softened by Elodie’s gentle nature and aching desire for freedom, and agreed to help her princess escape.

Arianne and Elodie made their escape attempt out of Elodie’s garden, pursued by the palace guards. They were cornered at the wall. Elodie was climbing over, and Arianne was pinned by the guards. As they watched, she was beaten to the ground by her assailants. Desperate, Elodie cast one final spell to save her life, using all the magic at their disposal, but it was no good… The garden grew wild around Arianne’s body, pushing back the guards and keeping them from reaching Elodie, but she was cut off from her knight as well, and forced to flee into the night.

With their magic mostly gone, Elodie was unable to take their shape as a unicorn. Their immortality was still their own though, and they wandered the land, searching for belonging in a world that they no longer belonged to, as magical or human. Eventually, centuries later, they settled down as a bookseller in the city, hiding their true nature and blending into human society. What they did not expect, was for their knight to reappear at their doorstep, haggard and disoriented, awoken from a thousand year sleep that Elodie and her curse had placed her under.

Now, the magicless unicorn and their lost knight must learn together how to navigate a world that no longer recognizes them, reckoning with the grief they’ve already suffered for eachother, and relearning how to love after a millennium apart.

They are soulmates and cannot be separated under any circumstances.

He is my horrible fucked up angel lab experiment and most favorite guy ever! More info and artwork under the cut!

Project: EDEN is a top secret project run my ArkTech Industries, aiming to create the next step in human evolution through genetic mutation and biomechanical engineering. Cas gets kidnapped and coerced into joining the project after he figures out that they have his brother, Damien, in their care, and gets too close to the truth of EDEN to be left to his own devices. They then turn him into Seraphim-1, a miracle of mechanics and genetic engineering, and the final phase of EDEN’s experiments. Like the rest of the test subjects, Seraphim-1 was sent to Eden, the artificial island under a dome that the project took its name from, in order to test his adaptations in the wild.

Cas is joined on ArtFight by his estranged brother, Damien, aka Morningstar-1, and his husband, Adam, a scientist working on the project who’s gone rogue and is wandering the island.

I love all three of my horrible crimes against nature very much.

It’s officially ArtFight season, so we’re posting OC’s now!

This is my newest and most beloved D&D character, Oleander!

Oleander is a bartender and tarot reader from the city of Waterdeep. Formerly employed and the Yawning Portal, they are their party now own their own bar called Rising Spirits, in the historic Trollskull Manor in North Ward.

Their most recent exploits include convincing the entire party and most of the city folk NPCs that they hooked up with the rogue in a closet, being waitstaff for a gala held by the Cassalanter family and getting their face smashed into a mirror by their son Victor (definitely for real what happened, don’t even worry about it), blowing up a Xanathar guild ship full of explosives and abandoning their party member on board at the first opportunity, and spending the entirety of a bar fight hidden behind the counter because they were too afraid to be noticed to cast any spells.

I love them very much, and they have sooo many things to hide from everyone else in the party.
