I've seen people saying that Fili looks like Frerin. But my headcanon is : Kili looks like Frerin and that's why Thorin is so strict with his younger heir/nephew, he loves Kili and is worried that he'll end up like Frerin cuz of his silly fool mind.

It really is gonna be a shock to him that Kili didn't survive when they'll meet in Mahal's Halls. All three of them. That all of them died.
