Welcome! My Emily Wilde fic collection, Missing Pages, is a collection of letters, notes, and journal entries that fit within the Emily Wilde series. The first chapter is a chronological index so you can choose what to read!

(If you're new to my fics and you want something quick and fun, I suggest chapter 6. It's just a bunch of notes Emily and Wendell wrote each other back when they first met.)

In addition to the fic collection, I have also been making cinematic playlists for each of the Emily Wilde books, or should I say the film adaptions that live only my brain :) Linked below are the "screenplays" that accompany each playlist, so you can follow along with the music for each scene. (For now I only have Compendium posted, but I'm slowly working on the other two.)

Emily and Wendell marry (I SHALL NOT TAKE ANY ALTERNATIVE!!)

After they marry, Emily living quarters are far more clean, because of Wendell

Emily's older brother was fully appalled when he found out who exactly his sister married

He was not pleased that they dragged his niece to their mission

He was even more not pleased when he realized that his childrens' uncle will be....a faerie king.....

Like full on '😧😨😱😠🤬'

And although Emily keeps telling that her brother want her dead..

Stop lying girl, you are oblivious as hell when it comes to guessing whether people love you (I MEAN THIS PLATONICLLY AS WELL!!)

So yeah, her older bro was also like 'How dare this random animal marry my sister' and when he realized that she truly loved him, he was like 'I should've known, all this obsession with them, obviously she would marry one'

Took him a while to even be civil with Wendell

so anyway, back to our couple

Wendell banned any of his subjects from harming humans in any way unless they harmed them first or unless it was self-defense

So because of him, there are more scholars coming to Silva Lupi

And everything Emily publishes becomes famous

That is, unless they conceal most of it, so the humans don;t know about what happened to the new king before, or that Emily is the queen

Wendell occasionally tells her something like 'I think I found someone who has an answer to one of your questions, I'll organize a meeting at -------, come soon'

And when she reaches there, she is unpleasantly (she loves it but pretends to be annoyed) surprised with a date

Wendell keeps tricking her to go out on dates like this

And he knows that she loves them, or else she won't be 'accidentally falling for them' that often

and um..that's it

Ohhhhhhh I like these headcanons very very much, would you consider writing a little dabble for some of them? Especially Thomas vs his very unwelcome brother-in-law and Wendell tricking Emily into dates by baiting her with research 😂😂😂😂 That is the most faerie husband thing I have ever heard in my life

Guys I’m so excited to share what I’ve been cooking up that I’m posting this early! I wanted to do something really cool for the Emily Wilde Through the Seasons fanwork event, so I decided to design Emily Wilde playing cards

We have Wendell’s father, who has never been named by Heather Fawcett (to my knowledge) and Queen Arna for the King and Queen of Where-the-Trees-Have-Eyes suit. And then we have the Hidden King and Traitor Queen for the King and Queen of the Ljosland Suit

I think it’s funny that both of these Queens tried (to much success) to usurp their king.

Loosely using the prompt “fallen leaves” and week two’s prompt “Ljosland inhabitants”

This is my personal head canon of what the Oíche Sidhe look like. I thought it would be cool to present it in a field guide form <3

Watching Wendell with a sword is like watching a bird leap from a branch—there is something thoughtless about it, innate. One has the sense that he is less himself without a sword, that wielding it returns him to the element most natural to him.

Things i'd like to see happen with Wendell Bambleby and Emily Wilde:

(warning, some spoilers ahead)

Emily gets slapped by someone she's accidentally on purpose antagonised. Bambleby finds out and "just wants to talk to whoever did this". We all know the all-powerful fae king does not just want to talk.

Wendell trying to tactfully negotiate the endless stream of women who come and see him upon his return. Emily watches from her office across the hall.

Emily gets a magical flashback to Wendell's time as a spoilt prince in his land being waited on hand and foot. It may or may not change how she sees him.

Emily going out for supper with a very handsome man who is very interested in her work. Absolutely not her, just her papers. Wendell gets jealous and gets drunk. he's very sappy when she comes back.

Emily views Bambleby through a hagstone to see him as the fae see him. He has an iridescent crown of light and he is even prettier than she ever thought he could be.

Emily and Wendell go out on a picnic. Just a nice, wholesome picnic with good food.

A room full of academics awkwardly witnessing Emily and Wendell having a spat. I wouldn't be suprised if objects are thrown.

Emily gets jealous of one of Bambleby's many admirers. But not wanting to admit it because she's too academic and has "logic'd" her way around it. This ends in tears, naturally.

Emily and Wendell cuddle in front of a fire and it's all nice and cosy.

Emily has a girlboss moment and saves Wendell- preferably like that scene from Ever After where she can take whatever she can carry and she chooses her prince.

Absolutely beautiful work by @imjenndove on Instagram. We have so few danger/action moments drawn so far for the Emily Wilde series and this was probably my #1 wish to see someday. Wow.

Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Faeries! I love this cozy fantasy!

I enjoy that the Emily Wilde books are written as a journal, it makes her encounters with fae/in faerie much more horrific seeing how much it affects her mind and memory, and the residual effects it has on her.

I also love when Wendell gets to be properly, horrifyingly fae. It's a delightful contrast to his personality 90% of the time.
