imagine how dirk must’ve felt when he saw todd for the first time after getting out of blackwing, being so beyond excited to come face to face with todd by chance, and todd is just as excited to see him. todd is also jumping up and down, screaming in excitement and jumping into a hug immediately. dirk thinks todd is perfect, dirk has been imprisoned in his childhood nightmare for two months thinking about todd, and unlike anyone else in his life before, todd is visibly just as thrilled to see dirk as dirk is to see him.
