This listing is for a, oh so delicious, lovely scented organic facial butter. It is primarily created by me in a labor of love for the dry and aging skin types. This specific formula contains Calendula oil (Calendula officinalis) which will improve the appearance of the skin, can affect blood flow to the skin cells, provide antioxidant protection that reduces the appearance of wrinkles and age spots, and even the visibility of scars. What you dont want in a face cream, the most sensitive part of your body, are chemicals, dyes and preservatives. all these ingredients will make your skin addicted to them, needing more and more and actually in the long run, doing more harm than good. Organic face and body care is exactly the opposite. Natures own ingredients, gentle on body and soul. Yarrow oil (Achillea millefolium), can improve saggy skin and muscles which resulted from aging, and thus was used in history to give people a younger look. Heal all (Prunella vulgaris) can protect skin cells from UV damage. It also is a plant that agrees so well with sensitive skin. Bees wax, also organic, helps to penetrate, soothe and protect rough, dry, chapped and irritated skin, while leaving the area feeling smooth and soft. Pure Aloe vera contains enzymes which repair dead skin cells. It moisturizes the skin without giving it a greasy feel. Aloe leaves contain so many antioxidants, including beta carotene, vitamin C and E that can help improve the skins natural firmness and keep the skin hydrated. I also added EOs (essential oils) which are of course 100% pure and medical grade oils. Ylang Ylang (Cananga odorata), also called the perfume tree has an almost intoxicating aroma and has a lengthy history of skin and hair care in Asia. It excellent choice for anyone who has combination skin. It balances sebum (oil) production so regardless if you have dry, oily or combination skin, Ylang Ylang will correct it. And the last ingredient is essential oil of the cocoa tree (Theobroma cacao. Let me first tell how wonderful the smells is, chocolate, yes wonderful chocolate aroma mixed with the wonderful scent of Ylang Ylang. But besides the great smell, cocoa has a high concentration of antioxidants, cocoa works to keep the cells of the body, as well as collagen and elastin, from being damaged by the presence of free radicals. The butter will come in a 2 oz. tin. It is so rich, while the same time fluffy light, it will last you a long time. All my products are 100 % organic, be it the oils I use, the waxes or the plant materials.
