I am stuck in bed with a cold and nothing to do so I’ll post some updates!!

A logo has officially been made!! It ain’t much, but it’s good to get started. I’m not much of a graphic designer 😅😅

As far as the dress goes, I’m planning on making more colors of course. I was actually thinking 3 dresses and 2 skirts, ORRRRR a total of 4 dresses; 2 long and 2 short. But I mean if people are open to the skirt idea I’m willing to make them!!

Now the boring part: my personal issues.

I doo feel very behind and very slow, since it’s just me designing, getting fabrics, sewing, and selling. But as I learn more about the things I need to do, I know now I gotta film, post, model, post, do voiceovers, post, post, post, post… plus I’ll be going back to school so I’ll be a working student plus pursuing this thing. But maybe the classes would teach me how to market better. And the job can fund this business much better than my current job.

But fret not everyone, I’m not giving up!!! The time will pass anyway. If it takes a million years then it’s gonna take a million years but by the grace of me it’s gonna get done. Stay tuned!!

The Bootstrap Dressform Pattern

Soooooooooo idk why mine didn’t come with shoulders. It could be an error on my part, but I did see a lot of other patterns with very narrow shoulders. That’s my only complaint. The “shoulders” I added in the bottom picture are hot glued on and poorly stuffed.

Plus I am aware the bottom half is poorly stuffed. I only noticed till it was too late but that’s fine cause I don’t care that much. I really needed this for my crochet tops plus I make skirts anyway soooo…. Oh and the bust was 2” smaller than my bust and not to be that person but I know that’s not my fault. But I don’t care enough to complain.

But now that I’m looking at it there’s now way that’s me. The numbers are accurate but I guess it’s weird seeing my body in anything other than a mirror.

I guess practice makes perfect. I want to make more of these in different sizes but it’ll be a long long while before I do.
