Sunday.Sunday.Sunday Day 3 of #sat11nola Had a great brunch, great time on Frenchmen St and exploring a bit. Met @giobenitez and @tommydidario during brunch. Totally was speechless...I couldn't have been more awkward during the encounter. Last thing I want to say about this trip is that it was fantastic. @epsisforstyle planned a amazing experience. Let me tell you about this slapped together "Sweet BBQ Bacon" Signature sandwich that McDonald's gave me... Please stop with these sandwiches if you are not going to properly train every crew member and every restaurant how to make them. This was so sad for the cost of it. Some white American cheese, some onions, bacon on half of it, and just enough bbq sauce to look like something. The sad part...outside of this sandwich...was that it took them extra long to make it. Like we had to pull to the reserve spot to wait. SMDH. If you voted for Jill Stein knowing she didn’t have a chance of winning and now you’re upset that environment is going to be fucked and the pipeline is going to be built anyway.

The martyrs include activists who were targeted for death because of their civil rights work; random victims of vigilantes determined to halt the movement; and individuals who, in the sacrifice of their own lives, brought new awareness to the struggle.

My first official post under the new title and blog name. 

Emmett- Many of these stories are of unarmed innocent black and white men and women being killed by racist white men. Many who were so innocent that they were killed for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Take some time to look this list, look at those faces and remember the names.
