I'm Dwight Fairfield, otherwise known as "The Fallen". A name my former friends assigned to me after my supposed "fall from grace". Really, I think I've bettered myself, but everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

So, yes. I am a survivor of the Realm turned killer of the Realm. I know. Yell at me all you want, it won't convince me to turn back to those that never appreciated a single drop of my effort and sacrifice. Surprisingly, I've found better companionship in the people that used to remove my guts from my body.

I think that says a lot about my old companions.

I don't hate you, not all of you, but you need to stay out of my way. I don't necessarily want you dead, but if you - or The Entity - force my hand, I won't resist. Sorry.

Wings are such a pain...

Dr. Carter had to alter all of my shirts so they could fit them. Then he had to alter them again so they can fit them now that they've grown.

They're very pretty, when my feathers aren't all bent out of place from dragging them, but jeez. They're annoying.

Oh, uh, yeah. They've got vertical slits in the back now, that can button/unbutton at the top for ease.

I can't reach them though, he has to help me, and it's kinda embarrassing. I'm an adult man, but I can't get my shirt on by myself...

Would zippers be easier? I know for dexterity reasons back zippers are much less of a pain in the ass to handle by yourself than buttons are. What if they zip from the bottom instead, so you can put your shirt over your head and not have to straight jacket saw trap puzzle your way through getting dressed every day?

We did think of that, yeah, but we can't make that alteration yet. We don't exactly have zippers lying around, and The Entity is very slow when it comes to requests... if it gets it for you at all, anyway.

So we've just had to settle for buttons, so far.

Plus, we have to be really careful it doesn't catch on anything, because that crap hurts--

We'll eventually figure it out. Just kinda difficult, when no human you know has ever spontaneously grown wings before. Or even had them.

The face wings are comfortable, though, at least. More convenient too. Don't even bump my glasses!

So like, hypothetically, if someone were to decapitate you, on a whim, for scientific or other purposes, could your severed head fly around like how the doctor’s does in Reanimator 2?

Actually, no, I don't think so! They're not built or positioned for actually flying, they're just... there. I'm not really sure what their exact function is, but they can shield my face and protect it, so maybe that. Though having two full mini wings on your face just for that seems a bit unnecessary. But whatever - I've got them.
