Y’all also have no idea how carefully I word my posts sometimes, because I KNOW how his haters work and what they can get a hit tweet out of. and some fans of tom need to take notes. Like there’s a whole list in my head of things you absolutely cannot do as a tom fan because they WILL use the fact that he doesn’t have a certain statue or a certain director in his resume as a comeback that certain side of Twitter will EAT UP, and if you say anything against another actor who does, then it’s an automatic set up. Also you cannot say ANYTHING about how he might be nominated for any award for the odyssey or anything else because since he has never been before, people will use that to trash him in general and say PFFT STUPID MCU WOULD NEVER, and we have solid proof of the industry playing in his face so that’s not something that we can just go back to and laugh in their face about it because it’s highly likely that he won’t be nominated for it. And with this recent claim of spoiling I also need some tom fans to not keep up this idea that he’s stupid and doesn’t know what he’s doing, because yes he can be, but not always. And keeping perpetuating that idea will get people to not take him seriously AT ALL

So now that FA movie is happening whether we like it or not lol, is there any actress you would like to play his sister?

And I wonder if the movie will incluide Ginger Rogers. Back then it was said the movie would focus on Fred and his sister but I can't imagine a Fred Astaire movie that doesn't mention his most famous onscreen partner

The supposed time-frame is around his relationship with his sister Adele, but I hope they give more time to show his ascent as a solo leading man as well. I trust the team. Let's bring it.

And I have no idea. Maybe a theater actress with a good dancing background? It worked for West Side Story, with Faist and DeBose. And it would bring a fresh air.

it made me smile when he said that he danced to billy elliot and let his body take over and his turned his (nervous) brain off. that was sweet and i hope he will keep that passionate sentiment the whole shoot. it won't be easy.

I tried to find the choreographer but I don't think he has been announced yet. One of the writer is the writer of Billy Elliott so that's a full circle moment. I'm looking forward to see who else will be cast. The mess around the biopic part is probably scaring some people away, and Tom might be seen as bad juju by some. But Amy and Rachel O Connor are witches 😆 And I feel like they will work that shit up to bring someone interesting.

I hope they do a great job on all fronts ant it all works out. And yes, that bit was cute. I wonder who the choreographer is too, but we'll only know when a photo comes out or if it's listed on IMDb way into production.
