So Ideas
Okay so basically
I can’t really come up with writing that I enjoy enough to make Falling Ashes an ACTUAL Fanfic, which really and truly sucks.
I wanted to see if you would all like Art or something in place of the fanfic? I can also do little scenes/comics + summaries with what all happened in that “chapter” so to speak.

Hi! So just saying that I love this Au, I would really like to draw something for it but enough about that. I do have one question, what happened to Brambleclaw? I'm assuming Hawkstar/frost killed him at the lake but I'm not for sure. Sorry if this was a dumb question I just wanted to ask because I didn't see him in the alliance.
Brambleclaw was killed by Squirrelstar when she found him standing over the bodies of her sister and father! Hawkstar didn’t even have to lift a paw.
this is really unimportant but who is Berrypaw’s mentor? It isn’t listed on your allegiances post
I believe it was supposed to be Squirrelstar! I remember giving him to Sorreltail, forgetting she was a nursing queen at the time so that wouldn’t add up long term.
Though now thinking on it, I like the idea of the two cats mentoring him together.
does ashfur go to the df?
Oh for sure. Like, not even spoilers. That man actively killed some cats. StarClan wouldn’t touch him with a seven foot pole.
Afterlife Residences
A few StarClan and Dark Forest cats got shifted around and I’m going to try and compile a list of who’s moved where and at least post the Dark Forest cats since there seems to be significantly less. If you can think of any cat who should move from one or the other, feel free to send me an ask! I’d love to see who you think needs moving and why! Obviously ignoring cats like Brightflower and the like who were quite wrongly placed in the Dark Forest.
does ashfur ever change and become a good father/mate? why do squirrel and him have another litter if in this au he is abusuve
Abusive relationships are something I know all too well. In very few cases, such as with Ashfur here, he’s in too deep. He has what he wants; kits, power, the she-cat of his dreams… If rock bottom were a place, he’d be 50 feet below. He no longer cares who he hurts to further his path.
Squirrelstar and Ashfur have another litter so that Ashfur can keep a solid control on the Clan. With Squirrel nursing, Ashfur, the deputy, has to step up. And he does.
Hawkstar is endlessly trying to convince him to either get rid of ThunderClan’s weak leader and take the spot for himself, but Ashfur is convinced he can get Squirrelstar to realized the mistake she made and step down on her own, allowing him to keep not only his mate but his power.
It IS canon that Squirrel wants more kits, as of Squirrelflight’s Hope, so I can see Ashfur using that against her to put her out of the way for a bit.

Shit I forgot part of the ask; he doesn’t become a good mate, no, but the Three would argue that he WAS a good father. He loves them all and is more than thrilled when they become warriors. He encouraged Lion to follow his heart and become a medicine cat and helped Jay learn to be a warrior despite the odds against him! He’s also so happy to see Holly’s ambitions to become leader like her parents and actively encourages all of them.

I know you said Holly’s name would be changed since Leafpool isn’t her mother anymore, but maybe Squirrelflight could name her that in memory of her sister? Idk I just think Hollyleaf is a really good name
It isn’t entirely solid that it’ll be changed, but I’m mostly leaning towards the change due to her being the one of the Three with her paws most set towards leadership and Ashfur would NOT be having his daughter named after his “mate’s” sister. Lion, however, does get a name somewhat in reference to Leafpool’s!
Ashfur wants his daughter to have a strong name and Leafpool, still having run off with Crowfeather for a brief time, was a traitor as far as he’s concerned. Can’t have ThunderClan’s future leader with that on her back!
Rewrite Progress
So as most of you know already I am going to be making a rewrite of the Power of Three and possibly Omen of the Stars for the Falling Ashes AU! Currently I’m working on an outline to work out who gets what POVs, what should happen when, and all that good stuff so that the chapters can cover all that they need to while still getting plot stuff done!
I’m hoping to get more BG characters some screentime and develop some mateships a bit better than initially done in canon, as well as other Clan POVs and less..filler, since we know these two arcs suffered greatly from irrelevant books/too much “not talking”.
The chapters will likely start being posted on a once a week schedule (or perhaps twice a week depending on how long the “books” end up being) when a good handful of them are done.
I’ll be sure to keep you all posted on progress as things get done but in the meantime you can look forward to the odd “oneshot” sort of post where we cover semi-plot relevant matters that happened pre-PoT as well as more art of the cats who’ll be appearing!
On the topic of cats; if there’s someone in the AU you’d like to see art of, just send me an ask and I’ll add their design to my queue of ones to work on! Requests will always be open unless otherwise stated.

Look at me being a basic bitch and making Jay a Warrior! I know, I know, every AU does it these days. It’s what he deserves.
He’s..pretty basic. I love the name Jayflight for him, despite the fact he took more after his father than mother.
The AU’s Lion Man! He looks so sad. Must get it from his mom, like a lot of his looks, huh?
Once again, Lionblaze’s name will be changed! He’s also no longer a warrior!
Full ref for Holly! Her warrior name is going to be different, so she’ll only be referred to as her old name/Holly for the time being.
She’s symmetrical aside from the forepaws and under-eye marks!

ThunderClan Leadership
I saw in the allegiance that Tawnypelt has her kits with Rowanclaw. How does that work with Rowan being trans? Did another Tom help father their litter?
Another tom sired the litter! It was Cedarheart, though he’s more or less going to be removed from the kit’s lives! He’s not interested in being a father and him and Tawnypelt were friends as apprentices, so he was more than happy to help her out.
