I've met some pretty friendly spirits - but... they're children. And they're not - completely here. Like they're stuck, or fake. But either way... sinister.

Well, he has serious anger issues for one. And two, we all thought he was dead and yet he still hasn’t told anybody who saved him. Just.. be wary. Oh really? Psycho? What do you mean? Oh... well Spencer gave me one, and it's the only weapon I have besides my wand. Offensive spells are like... you have to really want to hurt someone, or - make them upset. I have a hard time with it.

Yeah - less scary than the beds. Cato's kinda like - I dunno. I don't want him to think I'm not tough, cause he's so tough. I will - filling my water bottle as soon as I can. Any food I find I'll give to you first - babies need food too. I mean, normally humans can go... 30 days without food before dying. But it'd be less... for you.

The fact that the toys move- that is creepy. The beds aren’t too bad though, I’ve been sucking it up and trying to sleep on one. Well, great. How are we supposed to survive without general food and water?! Can you guys do anything with your magic or something?

Thanks! Hmm... well I think they could be scary, but he's using them now to protect me, and I'm not so good with offensive spells... so I like them. He said he'd teach me how to use my knife, too - if he could. No... not really. Just - like, stuff out of the corner of my eye.

We pushed some beds into the hallway, because... the rooms are pretty scary. And closed off. I dunno - I'll worry about it today, though. I can create water with my wand, if I had a container - well I actually do. I couldn't before because I was so weak, but I ate the other day, so I should be able to. Food though... I don't think animals would come in here, besides rats. And food is impossible to create from nothing.

Look, I know perfectly well that I have an enormous amount of misguided pride. Nothing you say or do can change that, if that’s what you’re trying to accomplish. But I can prideful and smart at the same time, love. Don’t underestimate me and the rest of your fellow rebels because of your own - issues.

I think you’re missing the point. They - made this arena to scare us. It’s meant to ignite fear and paranoia so that we being killing each other off. You cannot be afraid of it. That will only give it more power.

Fear... only makes you weak if you let it, and it only gives someone else power if you show it. But pride is just - it's reckless, and it gets people hurt! But they don't care, because they don't have to see the - damage of it. They can ignore it and believe in themselves. But it's the people who are scared, who try anyway, they have to - deal with it. [She was so angry, at that. That pride. Her brother told her that he wouldn't let her see him as a murderer, but that wasn't it - that wasn't it. It was his pride, his stupid pride, because he had to be better. He had to be righteous. He wanted to be a hero, and he left - her - behind. All alone to deal with this. He wanted to die a martyr, wanted her to still - be proud of him, but it just made her sick.] What about this is funny to you?
