I learned to love books because my father loved them first.

How terrifying, how excruciatingly painful to acknowledge this. That I am a jigsaw puzzle of everyone I have briefly known and loved. I carry them on with me even if I don’t know it. How beautiful.

Posting this for my baby boy, my sweet pup Bubba. I miss him so much and carried grief similarly. As a burden. Full of weight and it choked me. And my husband sent me that video.. I saw Andrew Garfield’s interview and it really changed how I thought about him. I’m just so grateful I got to know him at all. A lot people go their whole lives without knowing a love like that.
