Grace, you can't say that!
When I was a little boy, girls used to just do random cartwheels for no reason. Then one day, they stopped. Now that I am a man, no women randomly do cartwheels. This is because society is evil and killed the cartwheel impulse in their soul. They don't even spin horizontally anymore. It's fucked up.
The first photo is from 1956. It shows a Black woman watching members of the Ku Klux Klan (a terrorist, racist, far-right organization focused on white supremacy) walking along a sidewalk in Montgomery, Alabama (USA). I couldn't find the photo's author, but most sources state that it was taken in 1956.
The second photo shows members of the Patriot Front group (a white supremacist and nationalist group, formed in 2017, that openly advocates what they call "American Fascism") traveling on the subway during the 250th anniversary of the U.S. independence in Washington D.C., while a Black woman watches them. The photo is by photographer Cheney Orr, taken on July 4, 2026, 70 years after the first photo.

This work is about the joy and freedom that come with deconverting from an oppressive religion. I hope you enjoy!
Debates about belief/religion are not welcome. If you disagree, just keep scrolling :)
Can't stop thinking that if Jax transitioned inside the circus, she'd be Regina George 2.0 🩵🤍🩷

Isn’t it so fucked that in a literal artificial world detached from society jax still couldn’t be herself .
She’s always a woman to me -billy joel
I had two predictions going into the TADC movie. Transfem jax, and abstracted jax. BITCHES COME TO ME NEXT TIME YOU WANT A MOVIE PREDICTION CAUSE I HAD A 100% TURN OVER RATE
The writers of the pitt rn: Doctor Samira Mohan? There's no person by that name who works here, shh you're hallucinating, here's robby being suicidal for the 20th time.
I deadass have no interest in watching the new episode of this bum ass show
lord please take all their pain, quadruple it, and give it to that evil white man 💔
The only person who doesn’t believe in Mohan is Robby, like it is astounding how much self hate he carries within himself. God. She is an amazing doctor, who cares for her patients. And there is no denying Robby is the same, but somewhere along the lines, he started seeing his empathy as something to hate rather than something to be proud of. So hard to watch from both sides of it.
The word for the ship name for abbot and mohan is mohabbot the word for love in urdu oh god get me a chair im about to faint.
The Langdon-santos parallels are crazy guys. Both have a god complex, head above water, literally cannot do wrong in their own minds. It makes so much sense they fucking hate each other. They are reflected in each other in so many ways lol.
the wisdom ive learnt is that becoming part of a friend group 1) takes a long time and 2) involves a lot of feeling awkward and left out at first. there’s nothing terrible about this but if you grew up chronically lonely or have any kind of trauma relating to social isolation this likely feels Really Wrong and activates danger signals. but both fortunately and unfortunately it’s just how becoming close to new people works most of the time
another thing that was not intuitive to me as someone who grew up an autistic loner: basically everyone on the planet is starved for connection all the time and almost everything people do is an attempt to reach out to another. most seemingly illogical interactions and behaviours can be explained by this. you have to take as many of these invitations as you can. even if you're wrong you still attempted to bring more warmth into the world
i dont think whites understand how being white makes literally everything easier.
it effects everything.
being trans is easier when youre white.
being gay is easier when youre white.
being disabled is easier when youre white.
being a woman is easier when youre white.
being autistic is easier when youre white.
oppression is eased when you are white, as you get extra privileges, and your whiteness is seen as a positive characteristic that in some ways counter-balances your other forms of being a minority. whiteness controls everything.
you are automatically way more innocent in your own oppression as a gay, trans, disabled person because of your whiteness.
never forget this.
three things:
1. it’s true
2. white people get pissed when i bring this up/wear this shirt
3. the comments to this thread melted my fucking eyeballs seriously why the fuck are y’all like this
white people you don’t need to say you’re white when you reblog this btw. you don’t even need to mention it btw
I wish more people understood this. if you are white, you are white before anything else. before EVERYTHING else. they see your skin color, and decide how much respect, decency, agency, rights, you “deserve”. you disliking this fact doesn’t make it less true.
I think I understand his face now
