Welcome to the online presence I expected no one to notice. Whoops, I've been noticed! Hello!
I'm Falsie/Miku(he/him/his) and my main contribution is KBMS fan fiction. I am a single target shipper with fixed dynamic/position preferences. It is important to me, and I don't need to explain further. Neither do you~
My tastes run toward the lascivious and violent, and I love the Canaries and Kabru with my whole heart and want them to have everything. My current projects, featured tags, and the main blog you can expect Likes and Follows from are below the cut:
In Progress:
Haven't You Heard the Word of Your Body? (18+)
As inconvenient as it is for the son of a noble house, some elves have bodies that do the matchmaking for them. That's what's said, anyway.
Or: Mithrun goes into heat during the week he and Kabru have to spend stuck in the dungeon, and Kabru's life gets a lot more complicated.
In which I use made up mpreg nonsense and made up elf nonsense to explore things like consent and bodily autonomy as it applies to Mithrun in my reading of him. It roughly follows/alters events between chapter 62 of the manga and the series' end, so it contains Spoilerinos for those of you who have seen Mithrun for exactly two minutes but are still convinced you need to see him get knocked up. Which is valid!!
It is relentlessly sappy and emotional despite containing a good bit of That Nasty Stuff.
Planning:
Winter Sun and the Storm-Black Sea
I'm also in the planning (spiraling...) stages for an AU I've been referring to as Cheap Heat in tags because it contains so many things that could be interpreted as Acts of Aggression even though they're not meant that way.
The basic gist is that Kabru is a half-elf (and confirmed bastard by that token, sorry my precious boy) who Milsiril pulls strings to get assigned more or less as a page to Mithrun on an upcoming expedition in the hopes a boring, monotonous, but also dangerous assignment will send him running back home. Obviously that doesn't happen, because the island is already all fucked up when they get there.
It's heavily informed by my teenage (and to some extent current) diet of 80s/90s fantasy fiction and power metal (the lines in the intro image up there are from The Horror and the Wild by The Amazing Devil, for instance) , and is subject to much of the tonal and aesthetic shifts that would imply. It's also just an excuse to hang around with the Canaries a lot and write my own take on Demon King, so there. Is it canonically absurd? Yes, but we are all just fucking around here.
I don't want to promise it will be a chaste read 'cause I don't trust myself BUT I DO WANT TO TRY.
If this stuff sounds fun to you, hang around and peruse. If it doesn't, go do something that pleases you!
I started Tumblr again after 5 years of hiatus because of KabuMisu. I started painting again because of Mithrun. I think Mithrun almost single-handedly carried my painting skill improvement. I drew/painted him so much, including full illust, doodles, practices, i lost count of how many pieces i have of him. He’s my comfort char in every meaning and i still enjoy painting him the most.
This piece of fairy Kabru and Mithrun took me almost 15 painstaking hours, but I’m glad i managed to finish it time for his birthday 🫰🏼🫰🏼 hope you enjoy this too!
Also we all know how fairies are created… last time i read a fic that the Canaries had to give Mithrun a Kabru-shaped fairy so he stops letting it die and i really liked the idea
And once the fucking second season of dunmeshi comes out then you all will see that kabumisu is the superior ship because I am TIRED of having to see kabru be shipped with laois by anime-onlys. You will see. Theyll all see
i kind of don’t relate to the way other people Hate fictional characters in fandom spaces most of the time because to me a character is first and foremost a vehicle for Making A Story so if the character does Story. then it’s good. i don’t know how to explain what i mean by this. the only time i feel like i dislike a character is when i feel like their presence is not interesting and isn’t doing anything for my experience of Story. you know.
i hate it when it feels like a character has been designed specifically for me to like them . because then i do like them and it feels like i walked straight into their trap

A moody, atmospheric slow-burn centered around the relationship between two men— Ariel Shay, a part-time busker whose inner music can drive away the restless dead, and Caerwyn Cain, a frail, taciturn medium whose haunted eyes seem to draw them in. With nods to shows like Ghost Adventures and Most Haunted, Round Stars and Dead Stones pulls you in with its compelling leads and a mystery that leaves you wanting more.
Schedule: Available to read for free on Tapas, with 6 of 43 chapters already uploaded, updating twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from now until August.
this is the fastest way to announce that while I am slaving/puking/high-speed-rotating while composing my own post about it. "Where TF have you been?" Here. I've been here. I've been working on this. Please consider looking at it. I updated the posting schedule to Fridays and Sundays, you can now binge 11 chapters/17,000 words of it for free literally right now.
Looooong post about this and the process thereof is forthcoming, and I appreciate every one of you for following me even as I commit infidelity against you like this.
I think it'd be sweet if Mithrun postcanon during his budding relationship accidentally fell asleep and Kabru tucked him in bed before joining, sleeping above the covers to not cross any lines 'cause there's only one bed (harharhar). In the morning, Kabru realizes his mistake as Mithrun's trying to mention it as they are walking somewhere. Kabru is brushing it off like no its fine you stayed the night, its no big deal. and Mithrun just cuts in and says a Bit too loudly, "No, it is a big deal. You are the first person I've slept with." and Yeah now everyones eyes are on them.
To clarify, Mithrun explains that as in a romantic/friend context instead of Canary lodgings/camps/dungeoning. This was the first time he's felt safe/trusting of the person he "slept with" (Dungeon Sultha hadn't even joined him in bed ever) and he's got a warmth in his chest now and a little hop in his step.
