i love the concept of blogging especially fashion blogging...and VLOGGING omg but it seriously feels like it's not possible anymore. i mean you can do it, but it's not trendy and it's way harder to gain any attention bc of that, and bc just, the way the internet works now, the way algorithms work. and it's like yesss hobbies should be for ur own enjoyment and you don't need external validation yaddayadda.. that's true, but it feels completely pointless to post stuff that literally no one responds to. i don't need to be famous or whatever i just want like, community, people to interact with, and yes, in a vain way, i do want some confirmation that other people appreciate what i do, because i do put a lot of effort into styling and etc. it just feels hollow to post to an audience of basically bots. at least there are some real people here and i do have some nice interactions still! even on ig, because i've become mutuals with a lot of other egl people, this sometimes happens. but it's still like..way less than it used to be overall i think. and. idk what my point is here. social media just kinda sucks now in a lot of ways 💔 i love me mutuals though and we will persevere

probably very few people are invested in this but i crawled back to instagram some months ago due to a myriad of reasons but all leading back to unfortunate fact that it is still currently the hub of both my main hobbies, and not using it was really costing me community connection :( i really fucking hateeeee it as an app but yeah.
