while I did have fun with this blog I think it’s time to say goodbye. I’m not feeling the same creative spark as I did when I first started it, and unfortunately due to all the drama in the fandom and trying to bring me into it it’s making me want to stay away from both the fandom and this blog. 

Thank you all for the kind words and the great headcanons that I will never get to and I’m sorry.  I hope you can all understand my choice. What’s been going on has emotionally draining. I love you all for being involved. <3

I’m gonna be honest, it’s hard to push myself to update a Red Dead Redemption blog when there is so much drama in the fandom- the fact people are upset about tags, hating certain characters and me getting asks why I should or shouldn’t have them in my AU anymore, or having people say “yeah, but you should make your character THIS way.” 

I’ve been back on my main for almost a week, but when I try to update this blog and I just see all the drama in the fandom and it makes me sad.

do you post headcanons after u close them? sorry not really sure how this works

When I close them it means I have too many at the moment and ask for no more to be sent in until they are opened.

While it says closed I go through and do the ones I already have to catch up and once they're done I reopen headcanons so more can be sent in.

Do the kids differentiate between Hosea and Dutch by calling one of them dad and the other one daddy, or pops or something of the sort?

I think Sean really likes mumble rap, but like, it drives Dutch insane. Because he doesn't understand what's being said and it just sounds Loud to him.

Okay, yes. I can see this.

Sean, holding up some headphones: “Dad! Listen!” 

Dutch, glaring at him: “No, because I know it’s that shit I can’t understand.” 

Sean: “It’s not, I promise. I think you’ll like it, it reminds me of Queen.” 

Dutch takes the headphones from him and Sean plays mumble rap. Dutch just flinches because it’s just loud nonsense that he can’t understand. Just as he was about to speak, Sean turns up the volume all the way then runs away as Dutch threw the headphones down and chased after him while saying how this isn’t real music.

I’m thinking of the animation @snowball3235 started for the Disney Trip headcanon and now just picture with me here: 

Dutch seeing a guy in a Goofy costume and he just... freezes. Hosea asks: “What’s wrong?” Dutch doesn’t say anything but Hosea notices that he was staring at Goofy and Hosea gets this evil smile on his face.

“C’mon, kids. Take your dad to get a picture with Goofy.” 

The kids had to PUSH AND PULL for Dutch to move and he’s just like: “Absolutely not, absolutely not!” and tried to break free of his kids grasp. Nobody, not even Hosea, knew how terrified he was of the people in the Disney costumes. He couldn’t break out quick enough and had to take a picture with Goofy and the kids anD HE LOOKS SO UNCOMFORTABLE AND TERRIFIED ALL WHILE HOSEA IS JUST LAUGHING AT THE PICTURES.

Hosea clutches the steering wheel because they’re driving through a heavy construction zone and hE DOESN’T WANT TO HEAR THEIR VINE REFERENCES
