i recently got into your ginger and mint fic because my boyfriend showed it to me and im absolutely in love with it, its literally my favourite thing right now, but i was curious-

is it valid to enjoy it even in a non-nsfw/kink context? i technically share similar kinks but im more invested in the characters themselves tbh 🥴 🥴 the way everything is written hits me in a way that makes me nostalgic for HP but... in a better way

also, do you accept fanart? ;)

To answer your question -- gosh yeah absolutely, it’s valid for anyone to enjoy the fic however they want! ^^ and from my end as a writer, it’s really flattering to know that someone is primarily interested for the characters themselves and not just the kink. ♡ My major goal when I first started writing Ginger and Mint was Kinky Garbage, but I definitely also wanted to create characters people could get attached to. It really warms my heart to hear you feel invested in them!

and gosh this bit about the story making you feel nostalgic for HP warms my heart too. tbh probably just about every story about a magic school written by someone around my age owes a little something to HP, and it’s been a little nostalgic for me to write it at times too.

As for fanart -- yes, enthusiastically! I’ve got a tag for such things and I treasure everything in it. ♡

I'm having a fit, these are so good!! I particularly love your Bramley, he looks extremely huggable! ♡ Also Malia would adore the cut of that top you gave her, and I'm so delighted by Grayson's expression hehe -- that subtle "....huh" look he's got is just perfect for him.

I don't really have a lot of design feedback tbh! C: I honestly just love seeing how folks envision the characters in their own heads! The only v small thing is that Elliott has brown eyes rather than blue (and I only bring that up because that is... possibly something Grayson thinks about... a little excessively... at certain points in the story haha.)

Honestly I'm completely blown away, these are such cool takes on the characters! ♡ Thank you so much for this incredible art I'm gonna be yellin all week
