dashcon 2 has been the most fun, welcoming and kind con i've ever had the pleasure of attending. it reminded me of older con culture where its fine to be weird and be yourself, where everyone is eager and wants to make friends.

needless to say, ive never had such an amazing con experience such as this one :3

Day 2: God Tier Jade!

I think production process wise, Jade is the cosplay Im the most proud of yet! I cut, sewed, and stuffed the hood, made a tail, ears, and painted and glitter-ified the shoes all myself!!

DASHCON 2 2026!!!

So happy to have been able to go again!!

I’m going to make separate posts for my 2 cosplays, so!

Day 1: Verity !!

I didnt take many photos this day since I was volunteering :]

Yap about design choice and stuff below :>

First I wanna ramble about the design I went with!! Cosplaying Verity was a complete impulse choice I picked like maybe a week before dashcon. I had no design in mind and was literally making it up as I go.

Since Verity was pulled through the internet and yadda yadda in my head I was like…so what if the transmitter thing worked and it shot him out into the real world instead and now he’s become a robot/android or whatever!! Anyways

I wanted to take inspiration from iconic AI characters in media! So…

- The bow on the back of my head is meant as a nod towards Giffany from Gravity Falls and Monika from DDLC

- I originally had a long haired wig that was tied in a low ponytail, inspired from Monika from DDLC (it looked like ass, so I switched to the short one)

- The name tag was inspired by Connor from DBH and the labels on his jacket

- Also the various pins on the vest were inspired by just generic interfaces in programs or games. Theres one for settings, volume, and information! And I imagine that the big smiley face could maybe be a screen or whatever to display info

I expected to not be recognized at all but so many people actually did and I was even asked for pictures?? That made me feel soo freaking cool thank you guys xx

Since people were recognizing me it was giving me hope to possibly see someone else cosplaying from SIKAYD but unfortunately it seems like it was just me 💔 Maybe at another convention…
