Yāknow why itās so hard for fat people to go to the gym?
Besides the obvious, (feeling self conscious/ judged) it can be extremely demotivating after going for a while and seeing 0 progress. On the scale or in person. Every normal/ skinny person will see the momentary muscle swell of working out that fat people wonāt. Seeing progress is a huge motivation.
So if someone is trying to lose weight and theyāre actually fat itās almost expected for them to become unmotivated if they are trying to lose weight for looks alone. Whatās far more successful is losing weight as a bi product from working out to get stronger, to run farther. Trying to beat yourself from your last work out.

so, my mother doesnāt trust me to walk around my neighborhood because of human trafficking and shit (even though iām 20) BUT- that means sheās letting me use her car to go to the gym until iām able to afford a car. so yay
Random ED things nobody really talks about
Being jealous of friends or people who have been severely underweight/ hospitalized
Hundreds of awkward angle body checking photos
Looking at the size of your legs/body in every mirror, reflection, shop window
Being disgusted at watching people eat
Comparing peopleās body size and weight to yours before noticing anything else about them
Being obsessed with cooking/dieting/food programmes
The pain of hitting your hip bone on a table
Hating yourself for judging anyone who is healthy or overweight
Being proud of your lowest weight once recovered/weight restored
Eye rolls when anyone without an ED discusses their new diet/weight loss
Eating every tiny bit of a specific calorie portioned food because damn if youāve counted those calories you are gonna enjoy them
Feeling embarrassed for eating āunhealthyā foods because people assume you eat nothing/survive on lettuce
āWow youāre actually eatingā kill me
Not enjoying excercise or wanting to work out
Alternating between being scared of all food and wanting to consume everything in sight
Really horrific awful bad breath (like seriously bad)
One day youāre too scared to eat a tomato the next you eat chocolate without worrying about it
Looking in the mirror after eating and feeling like you gained 20lbs
The anxiety and embarrassment of buying laxatives/diet pills

so, awhile ago me and my friend were talkinf and i found out she has an ed (i kinda already knew but this confirmed it) and honestly? i feel like i have to compete with her. because me and hes are the same height but she prolly weights like 120/130 and thatās being generous and i just. iām so fuckinf jealous. i wanna be skinny and i wanna have been born skinny and been skinny all my childhood but noooooo. i had to be born and i grew up as being a fat fuck. i hate myself

š¦Guide to super soft Skinš¦
1. Exfoliate!!!!
I'd recommend exfoliating your body minimum twice a week. I personally exfoliate every other day but some people can't do the same as often, so find out what your body reacts well to. Exfoliating will brighten the skin, help to remove texture, improve "strawberry skin" and just leave you with soft skin overall!
⢠Shower gloves
Using shower gloves is the easiest to exfoliate. Lather up your soap or body wash of choice and use your gloves to clean your body the same way you would with a rag. You can find these at the dollar store or drugstore.
⢠Sugar/grain scrubs!
Sugar scrubs are very popular and well known to almost everyone that knows about exfoliating. You can either buy one (I'd reccomend Treehut shea sugar scrub) or make one at home using brown sugar, coconut/olive oil, and vanilla essence to smell like a cupcake:)
⢠Chemical Exfoliators
There are lotions and cleansers that contain lactic acid which are great for removing dead skin gradually. My mom swears by dermalac lotion as it prevents her from getting scaly, dry skin. There a plenty of similar lotions on the market, so research and find one that resonates.
2. Moisturize babygirl!
You need to moisturize daily after you get out of the shower etc.
No more ashy knees and ankles!!
I have very dry skin so as soon as i get out of the shower, I use a "base" moisturizer first. This is usually a thick body butter like cocoa butter or shea butter. I then follow that with a scented lotion of my choice. I like all of the scents from Hempz for this (wouldn't reccomend for moisture).
3. Eat clean!
Drink minimum 2 litres of water, eat your fruits+veggies and take your vitamins.
I know everyone says this but it's true. If you give your body the nutrients it needs, you'll glow from within:)
