I’m not just gonna miss Cole and Lili together, I’m going to miss the times in this fandom when we would wait for them to appear on a red carpet or freak out and shared their Instagram stories and bts of riverdale on here. It all brought me so much happiness so thank you all for being a part of that

Lawd, what kind of conversations will they have? “Remember that time when we were kids?…” 5 minutes later: “Remember that time when we were kids?” Like watching fucking paint dry.

Well, I didn’t watch and not intending to. I got the gist.

I am currently sad for so many people and characters. 

I am sad for Jughead Jones. For not being able to have anything good for long. For what it will do to his already massive abandonment and trust issues. For losing not just his girlfriend but his only friend. 

I am sad for Veronica. The girl had literally drank poison to save her best friend’s life. And poured who knows how much money into her boyfriend’s enterprise. This isn’t to say they owe her a life or money, but they do owe her honesty and consideration.

I am sad for Lili Reinhart. For all the shit she’ll get for it. For having to act this in the first place.

I am sad for all the actors who did their best in the musical episode, because no one who even bothered to watch is giving a shit about performances. Because that crap is the only thing the audience (such as it is) and the reviewers are talking about.

I am most sad for Betty Cooper. For what they did to her character. Because that girl? That fiercely loyal girl who stood by her boyfriend, by her boyfriend’s father, by her mother no matter what she did … That girl would not do this. Ever. For any reason. If Betty Cooper had suddenly realized she had developed feelings for that sentient Double End Bag next door? That girl would have had an honest discussion with her boyfriend before doing literally anything else. And, perhaps, got some therapy. And that girl wouldn’t do this to her best friend. 

Honestly, who is even the winner in this situation? Even if you are a B/A shipper, do you see anything good coming out of something that starts this way? Any healthy, happy relationship? 

Nobody wins here. Everyone lost. The characters, the actors, the show. What was the point.

caos spoilers

I’m a bit confused and lost in a few thoughts. In ep 8 of caos they reveal that pagans have succeeded and that the earth belongs to their gods now, and we see the entire Greendale covered in nature. But since riverdale is in the same universe as them does that mean the same thing happened there ? Will we have an episode of everyone dying but coming back in time and not remembering what happened? Probably not because the writers don’t realize that if they have an apocalypse in caos, it affects riverdale and the Katy Keene universe as well even tho they haven’t been introduced to supernatural themes yet. But alas, just more plot holes to think about.

This is why season one worked so well. Because they didn’t do this. They wrote the characters and the actors had to challenge themselves and extend their abilities. That’s what makes a good show.
