Abby - Forgot until the night before. Ran to a store to get flowers and a card but he got distracted by the funny ones. Ends up locked in the store overnight. You get up the next day to find Abby in the kitchen, with every surface covered by a different card and a bundle of balloons behind him. His hair is damp from a recent shower and you can smell the body wash when he picks you up and spins you around. He covers your face in kisses so you can feel his love for you.
Baby - Lets you think he forgot. He’s a little upset that it seems like you may have actually forgotten. Still took you on a rollerblading date. He fell so many times to make you smile, he accidentally tripped an employee and got kicked out. That evening he gave you wrapped candy and wished you a happy valentines day.
Jinu - Wanted it to be a special day but all his plans fell through. Trip to the zoo? Closed due to weather. Dinner? Couldn’t get a reservation anywhere. Flowers? Sold out everywhere. He still had another plan but he wanted the whole day to be perfect. Instead he sat moping on the couch and most of valentines day was spent comforting him instead. At least he got to be in your arms all day. Even if nothing else went according to plan, the velvet box in his pocket was still likely to make an appearance.
Mystery - Does a romantic scavenger hunt. Leaves cryptic notes and clues that lead you to the site of your first official date. A movie theater. Somehow managed to get the whole place emptied save for a few staff members to make popcorn and actually run the movie. It’s either your long time comfort movie or a new one you’ve really wanted to see.
Romance - The whole shabang. Breakfast in bed with a single red rose presented with your favorite food. Already has reservations for a fancy dinner and mentally even picked out something for you to wear. Takes you shopping anyway and absolutely spoils you by buying anything you even look at. Literally worships you.

I found someone’s cat
He doesn’t like my camera so I can’t print out a picture
I don’t want to draw him and embarrass myself
He’s VERY large
His teeth are kinda weird
Really freaked me out

& I think he’s friends with a bird in a hat
Rumi shows up in front of Jinu with a flyer.
“You lost derpy didn’t you?” Completely unamused.
“Are you sure it’s him though? It could be about someone’s maine coon.”
“FRIENDS WITH A BIRD IN A HAT!”
“…. Yeah okay it’s worth checking”
You just managed to save yourself from being accidentally crushed. This cat must not realize how big he is, but at least he isn’t shedding.
Your brother recently went on fishing trip and decided your fridge was the best place to store his catch. Since he doesn’t even live here, you decide the best course of action is making whatever kind of fish it is into cat food. You’ve never had to prepare a fish before so it took a few tutorials and a bit of gagging before it could be thrown in the hot pan.
You turn off the stove and put a large bowl, filled to the brim and looking surprisingly edible, in front of Kitty (as you’ve temporarily dubbed him). At the very least, all of that extensive research and tedious meal prep seemed worth it. Kitty was purring while he ate happily.
You still had to take the inedible fish remains outside to the garbage. No sooner did you close the heavy lid of the garbage, did the most beautiful man you’ve ever seen approach you. He was wearing a facemask and glasses but you could just feel the attraction. He awkwardly smiled and held out the makeshift flyer you posted outside the convince store.
“I’m not sure, but you might actually have my cat?” He rubbed the back of his neck and obeyed your silent wave to follow you back to your house.
“He followed me home from the bathhouse yesterday. Nearly gave me a heart attack when I noticed. And I didn’t put anything in the flyer because I don’t wanna deal with any authorities, but I’m fairly certain having a pet tiger is illegal-“ Jinu froze. If someone else got involved and started asking too many questions about a spirit animal, he’s not too sure if he could explain that away. “-or just say he was a rescue from a different country that you got when he was small enough not to have any markings. Say Australia. No one would question a weird animal that came from Australia.” The whole time you talked, Jinu listened attentively. For some reason, you seemed to almost care for a creature you didn’t know existed 24 hours ago. You pushed open the door and started making a strange noise, a cross between clicking and hissing. Maybe that’s just something humans do now. Oddly enough, the noise seemed to summon Derpy to you. He pushed his head under your hand for pets before he even noticed Jinu, or the disappointment on his face. Derpy then circled around your body and bumped the back of your legs to push you closer together.
‘He can’t be mad since I found him a mate.’
Derpy continued pushing you closer until you were almost hugging the very attractive man.
“So uh, he’s very affectionate. My name is Y/N by the way”
“I’m Jinu. Sorry about him. My… Australian cat seems to like you.” You were awkwardly laughing at this point, but glad he seemed to listen to your suggestion. You kneeled down to wrap your arms around Derpy’s neck.
“See ya big guy. Don’t go following random strangers home either,” you nuzzled into his surprisingly soft fur one more time, before standing up and giving him a pat on the head. “Take care guys.”
Jinu walked out the door first, confident that Derpy would follow and behave. He was proven wrong when he heard you yelp behind him. Jinu turned around and was met with you sitting on top of Derpy. Clearly, not your own doing.
“I guess he really likes me.” You try to laugh it off but you still don’t know how to dismount the cat. You look to Jinu for help and he returns it with an infuriatingly smug smile.
“Looks like he decided to keep you. Come on Derpy, let’s go home.” You start making strange sounds and asking Derpy to put you down. After a long minute of that you just sigh and accept your fate. Maybe you’ll just become his chew toy now.
“You’re lucky you’re cute.”
“Why, thank you.”
“I was talking to the cat.”
A few days later, Jinu finds a piece of paper in his bird’s beak. The note just has one line. No signature either but he knows who sent it.
I fear people might think I completely disregarded it when I said I’m writing a kpdh fic
I’m just my own editor and keep deleting hundreds of words at a time bc “I don’t like how it sounds” but FUCK IT romantic tension with the saja boys is now getting a speedrun
I could post the saja boys x reader fic in parts, and run the risk of loosing interest in writing (some chapters can be a lot longer than others)

Finish the fic and post it all at once, with no idea what the word count will look like (I have 1.5k so far but I'm maybe only halfway done)
