how did you come up with your oc universe?

Hiii tinytimism 🩵 thank you for the ask! I've been waiting for a good time to sit and answer this and as in sitting waiting for my phone to charge i figured this would be a good time!

I came up with fanny frank about a year ago after I got a wig from dollar tree and started doing uncanny drag and wearing it around my dorm for fun (and in ode to Shaye st John, who she is so so heavily inspired by!!!) For a while I wanted her to be more of a creature/human impersonater/monster, but when I decided to make her a character that I draw and want to make other characters in that world etc etc she became what fanny is today! The other characters... just came along the way ....

The world is based in a dramatized sci-fi version of the 1980/90s fashion scene because I love fashion! And it is the 1. Industry i know ANYTHING about enough to actually put characters in. I still want to make so many more important characters but I haven't had the time, and thinking up like Heidi russel and Cassandra took me like half a year alone.... i just cant make a character without being like 1000% sure about them and know them all the way. but I definitely want to make a few more model characters and Heidi assistant as well as a designer and a few others..... AND FANNYS MOM!!! (Ill make a photo edit of her when I get home I promise shes amazing)

Sorry this wasn't very thought out but yah basically I smashed everything i like together into 1 big beautiful world! My inspoboard in my pinned post on my profile also has all my media inspirations and aesthetic/color/vibe themes >_<!!!

ive been thinking alot. my original storys gonna change alot i want more twists and turns in this world and different ways to think about them and different themes to explore im ideaing rn.. also my next drwaing gonna have this same framing with drawing on teh left text on the right just ignore me what works works !

also a scrapped face for my like main fanny blonde edit i use alot, but i like this one because its eyes are from my "blue hair 70s young fanny" look and i liked the idea of her cutting out old pitcutes and putting them onto her face, but this one looksed to alien.

its rainning tonigh(lastnigt when this uploads) so im going to try to answer as many of the 100 plot driving questions i found and build moreon this little story
