It may be good that, once people decided what to draw, to tell you which fanpros are going to be featured on their drawing, so that everyone doesn't draw the same fanpros. That doesn't mean that there cant be the same fanpros in different drawing but it can give indications for the other artists. For example I'd like to know which fanpros the others are gonna draw so I can pick different ones. Of course it's not urgent at all we don't even have all the artists! It's just an idea for later.
Yeah, I was planning on asking people which fanpros they were drawing once the months were decided on, since some people might change their drawing depending on which month they get.
Just think about it
Just think about it, there could be an increasingly number of aggressive homosexual women in the U.S. within the next decade.
I'm wanna do August C:
Alrighty, I've put you on the list!
July for me or September~
Alright; should I put you down as this URL or is there a different URL I should use?
super weird proposal but hey who knows it might work heh. so my tablet's broken and I'm only getting my new one oct. 19 and I thought it would be cool to participate so is it okay if I send you a sample of the month I'd draw by Halloween or something (if you don't have enough artists by then)? if not, it's chill, it's just that the calendar sounds like a great idea (:
That would be totally fine!
Homework what homework, fanpro calendar is my homework
Okay but if we want to have a 2014 calendar we need to get started fast. It should be printed and ready to mail by December if we want people to get it by January, and December's only two months away!
So I'm going to ask all artists who are interested to message me with the months you're interested in drawing for! I'll respond publicly I'll make a list on a blog page (I'll set the page up right after this post) and then we'll sort out who gets what month. This doesn't all have to happen today (I honestly do not expect it to all happen today or even all this week) but it should happen pretty soon.
Hey fanpro folks! Are you in need of money for one reason or another? I have an idea to help with that, but I need at least 12 artists!
The idea is to sell a fanpro calendar, with preferably 12 different artists drawing the months, though if 12 different people aren’t interested and someone’s willing to take up the work of two or more months that’s ok too.
People can also sponsor a day for some amount of money, maybe a dollar, and then when the calendar’s finished and sent out that day will say “X’s birthday” or “X & X’s anniversary” or “international #0065 day” who knows.
If you sponsor a day and you donate an extra amount, you can have one of the artists doodle something for that day. The extra amount should be set by the artist, since they’re the one doing the work. EDIT: doing this would make the cost of printing really high so I’ve decided not to do it! Sorry!
Basically, it’s just a way to make money that I thought of. I don’t know if it will work, I don’t know if people will be interested in buying the calendar or sponsoring days, but I thought I’d throw the idea out there. Steal this idea for your own fundraising if you want, I don’t mind.
Details for interested artists are under the cut:

IMPORTANT EDIT
Finding a site that will let me customize the dates is a little tricky, but Staples seems to work! Won't let me add custom icons to the dates, though. Hmm.
I might, I guess? I just don't think I need it much.
idk I don't need money that badly I just really want Pokémon Y dangit
Now that I've got that money-raising idea out there
I need to think of an idea that will actually get me money

I can’t believe I’m actually making a “I need your money” post but here we are. Sorry it’s so long!
Drop me an ask to take my art, or reblog so someone else can! Thank you very much.
Sorry for not being on so much. I was busy the past few weeks.
I need to answer the asks I've got on Touhoupro, as well as update Fanpro Adventures, but right now I'm a little short on money, and I'm looking for ways to fix that.
Now, as I constantly reiterate on this blog, I'm not in dire need of money! Like I may be a broke college student but I'm a broke college student that lives with her parents and can rely on them if things get really bad.
However, I'm getting to the point where I have been thinking about moving out for a while now, and need to start saving money in preparation for doing so. My parents support me moving out, but they aren't about to give me $5000 or however much money I need to rent an apartment in Boston.
So I'm getting a job for one, because although I like to fantasize about being able to make enough money through my writing to support myself, that ain't gonna happen. So yeah. I need a job.
While I'm searching for a job, I'd still like to try and make money through my writing, even if it's not a whole lot. So! I'm going to throw a couple of ideas out here and see if anyone has an opinion.
1. Set up writing commissions and pimp them like crazy. If I price my time at roughly $10 per hour, then 1000 words would be 5 dollars or so (I write fairly fast? Especially when typing). I've got a few pieces of fanfiction that are around that size, if people want examples, though neither of them are fanpro.
2. Do something creative: I've chosen 5 of my favorite fanpros, and I am going to write shipping fic with every combination of them, 1000 words per fic (10 fics, 10000 words total). I will not publish anything until all of it is done! If you donate a dollar towards a ship, you get to see that fic as soon as it is complete. If you donate 5 dollars total, you not only get to see 5 of those fics early, but you get the whole collection once it is complete.
3. Do something slightly more creative: for some amount of time, maybe one month, I will be accepting 1 dollar donations towards a fanpro or a fanpro ship. After that timespan is over, for every dollar a fanpro or a ship got, I will write 200 words for their story. So if, say, #0063 only gets 1 dollar donated towards their story, I will write 200 words for them. But if #0113 gets 10 dollars, I'll write 2000 words for them. Same with ships; if #0001 x #0000 gets 3 dollars, I'll write 600 words for them.
4. Do the same thing as number 2, except with 5 of my original characters; a sweet lolita girl, a winged boy, a prince, a princess and a genderfluid time traveler. No idea if anyone would be interested in that, but hey! Might as well stick it on the list!
5. Same thing as number 2, except with 16 of my favorite fanpros.
6. Same thing as number 3, except limiting the number of characters people can choose from.
7. I have a seventh idea, but it will require me teaming up with one or several artists; if you are an artist in need of money, talk to me and I'll share my idea.
Now, I am going to be doing two things for whatever option I choose:
1. One half of all the money I get from this will be going to other people who need it! Whether this be by commissioning people who need emergency commissions, or just donating to people, it doesn't really matter. Now, one half might seem like a lot, but really, if you'll excuse my reiterating this another time, I am not in dire need of money. I have supportive parents who are perfectly happy to pay for my education and let me live in their house for 10 more years, and technically, although I am broke, I'm not actually a college student. Plus, I'm getting a job. So yeah; I'd like to give at least part of what I raise to people who need it more. (Note that this does not include the money I get from my job. That's gonna be all mine.)
2. A picture of Yuyuko Saigyouji counts as 5 dollars. Yes, this is silly. But I'm serious. As long as you are the artist, you can submit one picture of Yuyuko to me and I will count it as 5 dollars towards whatever thing I'm doing. Now, you can only do this once per person, and you can't submit anonymously! I know some people might just scribble something without putting any real effort into it, but you know what? I bet there'll be the same amount or more people that will put effort into their Yuyuko drawing, and honestly, as long as you try hard, I don't care about the quality. And I'm in love with Yuyuko, so getting pictures of her is awesome.
To finish up this post, I'll link people to my online store. You can buy commissions and other things from there, if you want. But if you like any of the other ideas, please give feedback! Thanks!
Update on the fanpro character sorter fun!
Somehow I had left out #0133, so after I had completed over 3000 battles I added her back in, and now I'm doing the whole thing over again because leaving her out messed up the final results by one number.
So now I'm just
Battle No.214 11% sorted.
