First, an edited video is released of the “encounter” - all hell breaks loose, death threats are issued, Twitter checkmarks gleefully advocate for murder, assault, and doxxing of a bunch of teens, the school receives threats and has to shut down, people find the personal information of the kids in the video and spread it around…THEN, suddenly, it comes out that the video is edited, specifically to paint the opposite picture of what actually went down. It comes out that these kids were just waiting for their bus on the steps when a bunch of hotep ass muppets started slinging slurs and insults at them, heckling children over hats, calling them “faggots” - I’ve yet to see any outrage over that - and Phillips inserted himself between the two groups, by choice. He went out of his way to approach the kids, and get in their faces with his fucking drum bullshit, while the hoteps kept heckling the kids. He wasn’t going anywhere, they weren’t “in his way”, he put himself in their personal space and then purposefully misreprested the entire situation to make it seem as if the exact opposite happened - that he’d been minding his own business when a gaggle of “racist children” suddenly “swarmed around him”. This motherfucker got on TV and cried crocodile tears over shit that VERIFIABLY DID NOT HAPPEN, the media RAN WITH IT, and now they’re desperately doubling, tripling down on their bullshit and idiots like @bossbabykin are actually swallowing this shit hook line and sinker. “Well they hired a PR firm to spin the story!!”, I wasn’t fucking aware that showing the unedited two hour livestream that debunked Phillips’ bullshit story was “spin”, but these kids were doxxed, threatened, dehumanized and harassed by the mainstream media and celebrities, so you’re goddamn right they hired a PR firm. They also hired a lawyer, and I hope every piece of shit news station and twitter dipshit gets their ASSES sued off for libel against minors, as well as inciting violence since the school got bomb threats. It’s fucking shameful, it’s goddamn disgusting to not only see how the story was spun into an outright LIE, but also the sheer fucking GALL of people to then try to double down on this shit by digging up any and all irrelevant bullshit they could fling at these kids, like the debunked “blackface” accusations.
