I finally finished Leviathan today.

I got some new labradorite that was too beautiful not to use, and some clay that was too fun to sculpt, not to use it in the painting.

Watercolors, Malachite, abalone shell, turqoise, labradorite, freshwater pearls, sodalite, sunstone, fossilized shark teeth, clay. Introducing Fantasy-Illustration tumblr.

Hi all, for the past several months I’ve been getting more submissions from people working in physical media like ink, graphite, watercolor, oil, and acrylics. As many have probably noticed, Fantasy Art Watch primarily posts digital concept art. I wanted to create a blog to showcase all of the great fantasy art being produced in more traditional mediums.

I just started Fantasy-illustration tumblr to promote sketch work and other non-digital art. Fantasy Art Watch will continue to showcase the best digital concept art as always.

I know I’ve been promising this blog for a long time. Sorry for getting it up so late, things have been busy. I’ll try and post previously submitted art, but just hit me up if you think I’ve lost your submission someplace in the inbox.
