this is just about the history of my main oc universe in general! thereâs a lot to read so iâll give you a link to a google doc with the information ahead of time, if you donât want to read this entire post. [you probably wonât.]

disclaimer: this is the lore of how my oc universe and most of my ocs came to be!! this is not lore for specific ocs, specific ocs have different involvements in this story. they will be elaborated on more, just not now, this isnât about them. now that thatâs out of they way:
thereâs this planet where most of my ocs lived. back when they were first 'born' but none of them were actually born from parents. they were created by scientists. it was more of an extensive science experiment; they were formed from male and female cells just like biological humans. they formed and grew like humans do, and the scientists made⊠a good hundred or so, enough to start a new society with their creations.
but those scientists who created them realized that the planet was starting to get overpopulated so they sent some of them to another planet for them to live separately, with a small amount of people to help them. sort of like a really big daycare service, run by a small government to prevent riots and any kind of trouble. so they had divided the population and sent half to live on a nearby planet.
but other enemy planets tried to steal the technology those planets had for themselves because the two planets had real advanced technology. and they were enemy planets for awhile, they had fought and squabbled before because of so many different factors, including but not limited to the location of them and the technology they had. so the enemy planets raided both planets for the technology they had, since theirs was more advanced than most of the their planets.
they took the people who were still alive after the big explosions from attacks and raiding, and and moved them all to a new place which is where they all live now. the new place is pandoris, which is where everyone lives now. itâs real similar to earth, except better because its not as polluted. and it was less polluted because of new technology that lowered the pollution!!!
the scientists had the technology to erase everyone's memory of the traumatic and destructive event that happened so nobody had to live with the trauma. they had good intentions, but the first few people they tested it on had their memory wiped entirely because it was the first prototype. instead of the tech erasing a portion of the memory, it would get confused about what to erase and would ultimately end up erasing everything.
that got the scientists in a lot of trouble. so that got put in the news a lot because of how serious the effect was, and the people who had their memory hard restarted had to start their lives all over again. those people are considered to be the faces of this new technology, but not in a good way at all. the technological procedure was seen in a negative light by common people, which made the scientists angry because they didnât want their technology to be seen in a bad way. so they polished up the technology and used it to wipe peoples' memory of the product not working right. they fixed it this time and it worked how it was supposed to, so nobody remembers it happening. but, of course, it did⊠and there was excessive violence and disorder for the first few years the enemy planets found pandoris.
 lots of fighting and chaos, lots of bad decisions made by government leaders that were made under pressure. the scientists claimed that they had a way to stop the violence. when the time came to use their method, it backfired and actually caused MORE damage. that made everyone really mad. everyone complained to the government, making statements like âtheyâre just making this place worse⊠what are you going to do about this?â and government officials claimed that if it werenât for them, then a good half of the population wouldnât be around then. and the people werenât having ANY of that.
they overthrew that specific part of the government, and they ejected the scientists to an enemy planet for them to get killed. everyone mostly gets along about how they take care of their society and economy, and itâs okay now. people moved there from other planets and helped the population to grow and flourish, with people from many different species, cultures and backgrounds residing there. they reproduced and expanded the population, and now you can find anybody from a tv head to an object head in pandoris. if you can imagine it, itâs likely that someone reflecting your idea resides there.
