hey guys i haven’t posted in awhile so i’d like you to take this little fluff comic i drew today as an apology ^v^
after plexi’s sudden disappearance, chai had nobody she trusted and cared about as much as them. now that they were gone, her usual bright and cheery attitude was drug down and she began to stop attending therapy training. she often got interrogated about it, and she denied that she missed them. besides... the therapy combots weren’t supposed to vent. they were supposed to help.
the only thing chai has to remind herself of plexi is her peach choker. it’s the only thing she has left to remember them.
“where’d they go?”
“there you are, chai! ‘s been awhile since we seen you around here, hah!”
“i know.. hehe.”
“y’know... now that i speak of it, why haven’t you been showing up to training?”
“...well... ...don’t get mad, but.. i guess since plexi disappeared, i’ve had trouble with energy... i know that isn’t an excuse... it’s just that they were close to me. and it doesn’t feel the same without them. i know i shouldn’t be worried about myself though...”

companion bots
companion bots are sentient robots created for the purpose of serving as a companion, friend and helper to whoever claims them. they, for the purpose of being as loveable and helpful as possible, are built with personality, empathy and looks as their main factors. their therapeutic and mostly positive attitudes, paired with their development process and how realistic their ai is coded to be, are what distinguishes them from the rest of the bots. but they’re much more than just a cute, low-maintenance robot.
i’ve created a sizeable google doc explaining much about the companion bots, so if your interest has been piqued i recommend you to take a look! i regularly update the doc when i come out with new information, so maybe check in regularly?
