Know a cover that knocks the socks off you every time? Want the chance to convince people to read your favourite book via application of Extremely Awesome Art? Never fear, the showdown you never knew you needed is here!

After hurtling at great speed down a cover art rabbithole, I am throwing my hat into the ring and creating my own tourney blog! I will be taking submissions for book covers to duke it out in matchups until the New Year — submissions are unlimited at the moment, so go ham.

"Y'all Hate Teens" Tourney submission form

Is there a character you know- or even enjoy- who's a teen? One who is disproportionally hated or mistreated by the fandom for *checks notes* acting like a teenager would in traumatic or even ordinary situations? Maybe they're unfairly demonized, or they're treated as annoying and useless. Then this is the tournament for you!

Rules:

Character must canonically be a teenager by age (13-19) or by function for a significant portion of the work.

Participants from yall-hate-kids-tourney may be submitted as long as they fit the above criteria.

No media are outright banned, but we reserve the right to reject any submissions we are uncomfortable with.

The tournament will be as big as it needs to be.

Propaganda is the main qualifier for entrants.

Depending on the size of the tourney, it may be double elimination or single elimination.

@therequisitewatson the fandom for pjo is just so big on here that i dont want pjo to just win every round because of its significantly larger fandom.

its hard to predict size of fandom most of the time tumblr vs irl experiences but im comfortable saying percy jackson is super popular here and is trending every week because of the tv show so another unfair advantage
