so far i have enjoyed 0/2 Miraculous movies. Idk. Something about the whole formula that works in a 20 minute show doesnt work in a longer format. I found both of them kinda snoozefests
tired take, but trying to keep up with ML and know what was coming out when and where is why i fell off of the show in the first place. And now tracking down S4 is making me lose motivation to watch a show that i love and that sucks
where I was in my current town living in my current house, but I was across from a local High school. It was winter, the ground was covered in snow.
In this dystopian world Macadamia nuts were common and fell from trees in certain areas but were absolutely illegal. Also for some reason in this world they were about the size of your hand.
A friend of mine and I decided to try and get in touch with the black market so we start collecting Macadamia nuts and putting them in the inside pockets of our coats.
On our first run we rode a motorcycle for a couple hours and ended up in a tea cafe/garden where it was no longer winter and leaves were falling everywhere. We traded the nuts with his professor looking man with glasses who gives us a wad of cash. when he’s done he glances around and passes us a sandwich bag full of sugar. Which was also highly illegal and not even referred to by name
“If you can get your hand on this, you’ll make even more. Check that school by you, they may have some.”
“Is that sugar?” My friend asks.
“Shhhhhh, little lady. You should know better than to say that. It’s Void.”
We make it back home and decide the next day we were going to break into the high school and get some void. We filled our pockets with Macadamia nuts again and broke in.
Even though it was dark the school was still full of teachers. We tip toed around this absolute maze of a place where passages turned in on themselves and nothing seemed to make sense. Finally we get the void and make it outside. The school is surrounded by trees and we start running for them. I remember running so hard my lungs ached until I made it to the line of trees and hid behind one, wondering where my friend was. I waited hours, watching as night got darker and darker. Finally hearing
“Fantau RUN!” At the same time I hear a something start sprinting towards me. It sounds robotic, and very fast.
I run again, dodging through the trees until I make it to a busy street. I run across without even thinking as I feel that I’m just inches from being caught. I hopped on my motor bike and started riding, knowing I could never return to my home.
When I make it to the professor, I present to him a paper bag full of void. and he opens it. Immediately he loses his shit and starts whooping, hopping around.
“Oh my god! Isn't this such a thrill? Don’t you feel so alive?”
“No.” I answered, staring down into the paper bag full of void, watching the small particles shift and change as I move my hand under the bag. “Honestly. I feel nothing.”
