Instead the problem is that they're so obviously and disgustingly in love with each other that he, Percival, and Gawain desperately try to hide their treasonous relationship from the rest of the court in increasingly ridiculous ways.

I love the idea that Silver is already taller than Sonic by like an inch (not counting the quills) and then he wears his boots which have another inch or two of heel and then he FLOATS like another five inches so he's always towering above Sonic with this smug little smirk no matter what the instance

Meanwhile Shadow barely meets Sonic's height with his air shoes but take those suckers away and he's an inch shorter so next to Silver he looks positively puny

I like Amy taller than Shadow I wanna say that her boots make her just barely taller than Shadow in his air shoes and that she's actually noticeably taller than him when neither of them have the shoes

She's barely shorter than Sonic (which she likes) but she could easily get past him with a pair of platform shoes
