Lucas reached to steal a chip from his boyfriend and he gave a half shrug. “Well, we could start the whole research thing we were talking about on the way over here. Or, we could spend the time between now and when my momma gets home doing the making out thing we were talking about, and research college stuff later,” he offered, grinning softly.

Farkle held the bag out to Lucas, since he was probably going to want more anyway. A smirk revealed itself in response to the options that he was given. ”Hmm, I wonder which choice will wield the best results.” He popped another chip into his mouth and quickly swallowed. “The second.” The genius chuckled as he pushed Lucas down against the pillows on the bed, leaning down to kiss him playfully.

Lucas grinned softly. He much preferred the affectionate hair rufflings over the old “mess him up” ones he used to get. “Nah, I think I’m the one who gets to claim that. No one’s got a cuter boyfriend than me.”

It was hard to keep his hands to himself, admittedly. “You always have to make it a contest, don’t you?” Farkle shook his head, laughing softly to himself before he placed his hands on his boyfriend’s cheeks and leaned in for a kiss.

“Craving some good ol’ barbeque, buddy?”

Farkle nodded. “Is your mom making some any time soon?” He was hopeful.

“You’d go with me to get them? But where around here makes them like down in Texas?”

“Remember when I said I never wanted to see a slab of ribs again? Well, I lied.”

Lucas turned his head to steal a kiss and he chuckled softly. “Always happy to hear that’s mutual..”

Farkle reached up and ruffled Lucas’ hair softly. “I must have the cutest boyfriend of all time. Definitely the best kisser, too.”

“I’m not getting between you two on that front, but I stand by my statement,” she decided, flashing a smile.  “Okay, so with Riley and Huckleberry officially together, you and Smackle happily and dorkily in love, and me in a weird thing with Josh, we need to find a special someone for Zay.”

Farkle grinned and nodded. He could think what he wanted and what he wanted to think was that Maya thought he was smarter than Smackle. At least for now. “We are not --- okay, that sounds about right.” He agreed. “I think he can find his own girl, what ever happened to Vanessa?”

“Yeah, you are,” she stated, quirking an eyebrow at him.  “Because you’re the smartest person I know.  Who else would I choose?”

It made sense, he was pretty smart. “What about Smackle? Are you saying you think I’m smarter than Smackle?” His face lit up and he rubbed his hands together. “Okay, you’ve reeled me in. What do you need help with?”

“Well I wanted to make a good impression” she noted lightly, “I’m glad you like it”

“Of course I like it. I always think you look beautiful.” His cheeks blushed slightly, he moved in to hug her and kiss her on the cheek.

She smiled, only because she knew that he was being completely truthful. “I just didn’t want you to think I was too overdressed or something”

Farkle shook his head. “No, you look great Riley.” He smiled softly. He really wanted to kiss her right now, but maybe he would wait until afterward.
