No 😄 Some people need ai too create. Ai helps with my disability and helps me come up withad organize things. It also can just be for fun sometimes. Demonizing technology isn't gonna stop the world from crumbling.

I'm not demonizing technology. Creations with AI aren't creative. A computer can't think for you. AI is killing the environment. Do not use AI to be "creative" or to make fan content. Do your research.

Everything is killing the environment. If I went into your house right now, I would find hundreds of things made by people and companies that harm the environment. There’s no ethical consumption under capitalism bla bla bla. If someone wants to make a funny I meme with Ai here and there because life is so hard and they’re depressed, then let them.

I can promise you the average ai user is doing less harm too the plant than the top 1% and corporate elites.

The thing is that you guys are repeating history without realizing it. Every new type of technology has been demonized at one point until it became normal in our society. I understand the criticism that it’s bad for the environment, but the choices we make in our everyday lives to be better consumers and make better decisions for the planet, is our individual journey and ours only.

AI as we know it today is just a evolution, its not it’s conception. Artificial intelligence has been around for a while and we always knew it would grow.

AI can be extremely helpful to a lot of different people for a lot of different reasons. AI can help the disabled and it can help further advancements in technology in the medical field to help save lives quicker. It can do so much, even just help someone write a shopping list.

AI itself is not the devil in disguise. It itself is not a problem. It’s how you use it.

And no I don't see a problem with it being used in fandom. If you are gonna demonize the use of ai in fandom and art then you must villainize all forms of technology used too help make art.

You want to bring up how we should demonized all AI, if you say so! AI has been around yes, but generative AI is the one we are focused on. We don’t have to go into feelings because it appears we aren’t focused on that.

In general, because this has been widely agreed on. The art of generative AI sucks, and should NOT be allowed to continue, or have people train the AI to be better. There are THOUSANDS, if not MILLIONS of artists trying to make it big out there, and because of generative AI, they CAN’T. Don’t even get me started on the writing part.

Teachers are now reporting that they have to use a website to detect generative AI, because students are now more leaning towards generative AI doing their work, instead of them ACTUALLY doing it. Students are also reporting they are being accused of using said AI, and plagiarizing because of that. Simply because of the language!!

Is all AI bad? I’ll leave that to you, but fact of the matter is generative AI is not helping at ALL.
