Holye Fucking Shit
And another.
The Umbrella Swinger, a creature concept for the mod Better End. It's found in the umbrella jungles, swinging from umbrella tree to jellyshroom with its grapple-like rope apendage.
A soul/wither variant blaze I modeled and rendered
We're no strangers to love...
I know that “elemental planes except they’re all for the actual elements” is a common joke concept, but like, imagine what the mephits for that would be. Like 20% of them would violently explode, except they’re immune to damage sources based from their elements so it would just be constant nukes centered on themselves or something.
An idea for a Subnautica creature I had, the elder reefback. Basically just a rare, larger version of regular reefback leviathans and not much else.
Also made a size comparison because I was bored.
An underwater scene I made.
Behold a sphere!
(Blockbench meme, in Vanilla styled models (which is how I model and find looks best) a single cube is usually the best way to make a sphere).
Remodeled endermites
Pixel art I made of a Betweenlands portal tree, as an album cover for the amazing Mr. Owltkins’s remakings of most of the BL music.
Listening to the Minecraft soundtrack for the three millionth time, and every single time I’m always amazed at just how beautiful it is, honestly. Not exactly sure why or how, but every note and every chord of every song just hits perfectly in ways I have literally never heard in any other OST or other piece of music. Even to people who don’t like Minecraft, I 500% recommend you listen to the soundtrack and just how peaceful, simple, and spectacular it is.
(And then Concrete Halls and Balled of the Cats come on and I just start jamming furiously).
The voidfan fish, a giant sunfish-like creature native to the end void. It can be bribed with chorus fruit to let players hop on its side and hang on as an easy way to cross the end islands, though it has no sense of direction and will continue in a mostly straight line until an islands with chorus trees to eat comes into sight.
the “so glad i grew up with this but damn this is better” meme is literally how i feel about every mc update. mossy cobble should still not be craftable tho
I was agreeing with you ‘till the last sentence.
Most definitely that both villagers and illagers will teach newbie players rather racist views against the others. Whether it be that the illagers are lowly savages or that villagers are pathetic weaklings only good for looting. Unfortunately these views are hard to unlearn because of how the testificates reacts to players, such as illagers attacking and villagers behaving shyly.
However there is hope for these younge players! Their natural curiosity. It is hard wired into them to have a need to explore, to collect buildings materials, and to create. We can all agree that we want a cool looking base and to craft the best tools.
Over time, newbie players will learn more about the strange harsh world around them and the need to explore more soon overrides the desire to please their hosts. It does pain them to leave, they do honestly love their parent figures! Sadly most illager players are mostly to be banished from mansions for “disobedience”, essentially orphaning them. Illagers life is hard and the community needs to stick together...
Villagers are a little more kinder, sure they will be disappointed and even becoming mad at them! They will claim the player can’t just leave the village unprotected! Villager players will go to great lengths to fortifying their homes before going on their exploration. Tall walls, plenty of golems, even a few lava pits just to be safe! They may be gone for an extended periods of time but villagers players always return to their hosts, bringing back treasures and useful items. ~✨
I like that last word used, ‘hosts’. It implies that the players are just guests, not truly part of the community. They’re independent, they’re players, not illagers or villagers no matter how hard either try to make them one.
Illager adoptions getting tossed out for not acting right is very sad to think about. They’d probably be very alone. Villagers worrying over their players as well...
I love all these headcanons!
It’s late evening, and I hop on my computer to browse the internet only to be blinded by this unholy creature of eye-burning radiance. (Tabby Cat new tab extension).
