“Huh?” Brady hastily turned to face Lucina, nearly dropping the bronze sword in his hands. He figured he should at least try out some weapons, as much as he detested the idea of it.
“O-oh, of course it ain’t… Mind showin’ me how you do it?”

She draws her own blade, stepping forward as to give him a better view of her grip.
❝ You simply place your dominant hand here, on the grip. It will offer far better stability than... ❞
She glances over at his grip again, and though the fights the urge to laugh, a small smile still manages to tug at her lips.

“Really now? That’s assuring to hear, Princess Lucina. But I’m sure you’d be a wonderful piano player too– it doesn’t even matter if your hands are calloused from war.” Kamui responded, and flashed a small smile at her.
“Would you have some time now? I am still a beginner, but I heard that one of the ways to retain information was to teach it to someone else.”
❝ Right now?? ❞
She has no true reason to decline, though the idea of being thrown into instruction so suddenly sets her on edge. Not that she might have fared much better with warning -- after all, what sort of preparation might she have attempted given advance warning. Still, the prospect of embarrassing herself in a feeble attempt has her heart beating just a little faster.

“It’s alright, Lucina.” Inigo returned with a small, sympathetic smile. It wasn’t unheard of to get entangled with nature itself while training– only Naga knew how many times he had done that himself during his dance practices. “It happens to the best of us, as they say.” He nodded, and crept a bit closer to at least aid Lucina to recover from her blunder. He stopped right at the tussle of leaves clinging onto the wooden sword, and leaned forward slightly to dislodge it from the tree’s grasp.
As he presented the sword to the princess, he let out a chuckle. “Maybe it would be in your best interests to not practice near any trees… ah, Lucina! Would you like to get some tea with me? It’d also be in your best interests to take a break…”

She breathes a sigh of relief as she wraps her fingers round the hilt of the blade, stashing it gently in the sheath at her side. She can only thank the Gods it had not been Falchion she was practicing with – forgiving herself for such a blunder might not have been so simple had he let her Father’s blade get tangled in a mess of branches.
❝ I would like that. If I am making such outrageous mistakes, perhaps I should give myself a moment to rest. ❞

Disheartened, Saya sighed deeply. Having enough pocket money to purchase a new staff was out of the question. Perhaps she could ask Maribelle to loan her – actually, no. She didn’t want to listen to the woman go off about her recklessness.

ayyy ini/laz just recently hit 100 followers. that’s pretty rad, dude. tbh playing inigo has been such a blast for me, and i don’t regret making him at all. after wanting to play him for so long, i finally have. and i’ve had some great memories on this blog, as well as made some amazing friends, despite the fact i’m really socially anxious, and petrified of everyone. but ayy here’s a list of totally wicked people. don’t worry if you don’t see yourself on here, you’re cool in my books ;))

Morgan hads faced more Risen than he can even count by now. He’s fought bandits, Grimleal, and all sorts of enemies. But none of them are even half as terrifying as the cockroach that is currently terrorizing the supply tent.
Speaking of the cockroach, where did it go? He could’ve sword he saw it fly under a lance that someone had left on the ground. But then he hears something buzz past his left ear and almost flies backwards. It’s a good thing he doesn’t have a tome on him, or he probably would’ve destroyed the entire tent.
❝ Let’s get out of here! ❞
Moments later, with no small amount of chaos and clambering, they find themselves outside the tent. Her cheeks are flushed and her chest is heaving with labored breath, but it seems they’ve escaped the threat for the time being.
❝ Looks like we made it. With any luck, the beast will be gone upon our return. Good thing we-- ❞
And as quickly as her relief came, it vanished upon realizing the foreign lack of weight at her hip. A single glance downward confirms her fears.
❝ Oh Gods... Falchion... ❞
In her sudden rush to leave the tent, the sword had been left behind. She had already suffered one lecture from her father about the way the sword ought to be treated, and yet, in a panic, the blade had managed to slip from her grasp, remaining in the tent -- along with the bug.
