“Trade unions are all the same: They are black-hearted,” complained He Enjia, president of the Textile Enterprise Association of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia. “In the last two years, things changed in Cambodia,” he added, explaining that factory owners used to be able to hire police to suppress striking workers. “Now it’s impossible. The influence of the opposition party is growing, with the help of the Western media."

If you had to explain the differences between california and Texas to someone not from America, how would u?
Texans carry a lot of history and tradition on their shoulders. I personally would say they’re “saddled” with it, but they would probably disagree and paint it as a positive thing. They’re one of the most nationalistic states and they’re really into their identity and culture. They use their past as a rock and source of strength.
Californians don’t really care about the history of California and are less tethered by tradition. The culture here is more open to change and embrace new ways of life. Definitely more liberal.
If states were rappers. Texas would definitely be KRS-1. Califonia is kind of like Snoop.
KRS-1 be like “Do you know what I’ve done for this culture? I’m the teacher. I’ll slay all you young fools on the mic. Why aren’t you listening to that one album I put out 25 years ago? You are such a peasant. I am a legend.”
Snoop be like “you know what would be funny, if we got high and then put on white boy makeup and a wig, I think im going to name myself Todd”

My affection and respect for the Clintons run deep. I do indeed owe President Clinton for the extraordinary opportunities he gave me to serve him and this country. And nobody worked harder for him or served him more loyally, during some very difficult times, than I did. Carville and others say that I owe President Clinton's wife my endorsement because he gave me two jobs. Would someone who worked for Carville then owe his wife, Mary Matalin, similar loyalty in her professional pursuits? Do the people now attacking me recall that I ran for president, albeit unsuccessfully, against Sen. Clinton? Was that also an act of disloyalty?
