Hello, I'm FaunaLynn ❤ I've been into makeup pretty much my whole life. When I was 4 or 5ish I remember watching my mom apply her make-up and thinking that it looked like so much fun. Even then I was amazed at how much make-up could do wonders. My sister was like 14ish and had caboodles and oodles of make-up that she NEVER wore. I would sneak through it because she had so many more fun colors and glitters then my mom.
I would apply it thousands of different ways. When I say thousands I mean millions of ways from bad ass Gothic and literally writing symbols on my face with black eyeliner to chic and pretty. I had no idea what I was doing and would get into so much trouble. It was worth every second.
It was the 90s after all. So I started wearing make-up at school and taking it off before I got home. By now I was about 12 and school was tough so makeup was my outlet.
I grew up half and half in Chicago Illinois and Phoenix Arizona. So I'll never forget my first EVER make-up shopping experience. My mom and I headed to Walgreen's surprise surprise! I even bought a see thru purse to show off my goods. My mom allowed me to get the beloved Maybelline clear mascara,
CoverGirl Blushers, shiny white eyeshadow, and two makeup brushes. I FELT like a model and I was in Heaven. Being an overweight teen,
I felt fabulous. That's another story for later lol. So fast forward through those terrible adolescent years and now being able to work and out of school, I knew what I wanted to do. YouTube was on fire and so was Justin Timberlake.
I began working for a huge make-up company inside a boutique shop. I LOVED every second of it, but here's the thing...I was GOOD at it. It was the only thing I'd ever been legitimately good at AND loved doing. Makin people beautiful on their outside too was my passion..was my calling. I was like a sponge and it was here that I found my love (and importance ) of skincare.❤ I learned that it all starts with your skin, your canvas. Our largest organ. If I wanted a beautiful make-up application, or even that natural healthy glow I had to take care of what I see in the mirror first-my skin.
So I learned as much as I could and am LIVING it. I will never get enough. So now fast forward to now. The time where everyone can make their dreams become a REALITY even with a phone and a voice. I do make-up on the side still especially for weddings, and a few little small classes for make-up application all while taking care of my family.❤
Mainly though I love reviewing and being an influencer. I'm not afraid of color or trying anything new! Make-up isn't a tattoo ❤ I want to know secrets and tips on how to look my best and on my quest share share what I know. Make-up isn't a one size fits all. That's why I love it. I will NEVER stop learning. Here I will share, review products HONESTLY, talk tips and tricks, and a little fashion. Keep in mind if I say something wrong or that you disagree with please contact me and I will try and fix it! That being said I LOVE tutorials and might start doing them on Youtube.
