tried doing a scene and it didn’t go particularly well (trying to get better at domming but im not remotely there yet) and rather than it becoming a fight we just talked through it, apologized for what we felt we did wrong, and reassured one another.

i don’t really have a history of relationships where open communication is like. pursued and rewarded! it feels really good to have someone willing to understand where I’m coming from and help rectify mistakes. it feels really good to have someone honestly communicate where they’re coming from and help them through the issues i had. it feels like heaven when we talk about how we can approach things better next time.

in all my other relationships, communication has kinda varied from okay to terrible. while there’s still room to improve our communication, i feel like this is the first relationship I’ve been in with genuinely good communication and !!!!!! it’s very good i love him so much
