Izaya slowly took his wet coat off before he put on the blond’s one; the way he moved looking as natural and gracious as ever despite his inner insecurities about being at a place he knew nothing about. He played his role perfectly There was no reason not to though; things were progressing well for him so far. And if the other would on the top of helping him turn out to be quite interesting, he could actually consider it a good luck.
“If you find clothes for me, I would still like to pay for them though; if not with money, then with something else.”
If the other really worked for the monarch there, he was certainly a good connection; though Izaya should probably rather be more careful with dealing with him, at least from the start.
As he walked next to the other, holding his own wet coat in his hand, the raven watched him from the corner of his eye. When he looked at him closely, he could be considered rather handsome. Though his beauty was somewhat more on the feminine side. If he was shorter, he would resemble Izaya’s most often sexual partners quite a lot. However, just physical appearance was never enough to make the raven interested. His potential partner would have to be interesting too. Someone who would fascinate him a bit in some way.
Not realizing when a faint, a little bit mischievous-looking grin showed on his face, Izaya kept walking next to the other, letting him lead the way and wondering where he was going to be taken to.
Fay kept walking with good intentions as all that just happened processed in his mind. A stranger, different from everyone there, wearing odd clothes, yet still understanding what he was saying-- More the fact he had no idea where he was; it was all too strange. But for the magician, it seemed natural. Quite unbelievable it never happened before. Or yet.
It was possible to see a few houses already when he came to a great realization. It was only then he took a look at Izaya again - with his dark hair and dazzling eyes -, smiling. “I know how you can pay me.” And left at that, walking a bit faster at the sidewalk, taking path to the nearest inn he knew. It didn’t take much for them to arrive, a big house with fresh scent and two doors colored in a warm brown, perhaps to contrast with the cold they were facing. He had been in a room there before, so had no doubts about its quality. He was sure Izaya would like it.
Even if he wasn’t the best one to judge.
The blond opened the door on the left and stepped inside, looking back to see if the other was accompanying him. The walls were painted lighter than the door, but they still had the reddish hue. The furniture was of a deep brown, old, yet clean, just like the tables. It wasn’t anything fancy, the place didn’t have as much gold and crystal as his home, and just as expected. Fay went straight to the reception, which only had a young woman who was probably the daughter of the owner. She had brown eyes and light hair, not as bright as Fay’s. She smiled when saw him, and he, after all the introductions and casual flirts, asked for a room. Got the keys right away, and walked to the foreigner.
“I need to get something in a store, so you should take a bath and get dressed while I’m off. I asked the lady to send you some clothes, hope that’s okay.”
