♛ — WHILE HE LOATHED being unable to walk in the sun, feel the heat against his pale flesh, step into any sort of natural light without BURSTING into flames, he enjoyed the immortality, and everything that came with it. The night was his. He conducted all this twisted desires and tasks during this time, and it was worth every second he remained VULNERABLE to the sun. The primary downside aside from the light, was being unable to enter someones house without permission. It was FRUSTRATING.
Leaning his shoulder against the wall of the porch, JERRY flashed the younger man a charming smile. “I’m sorry to bother you at such a late hour,” he really wasn’t. “-but there was a bit of trouble involving a small gas leak over at my place, mind if I COME IN and make sure it isn’t affecting yours?” It wasn’t his best excuse, but right now, it was the best he could come up with, especially when he was lacking BLOOD.

Parental wasn’t a word JERRY DANDRIDGE would use to describe himelf. Even when he was human, children were never something he thought about having. Modesty was the FIRST child he had ever thought to turn. Being a vampire and staying with him was a better option than her old live. Perhaps it was his role as a SIRE that sent the protective feeling through him. One hand on her head, he coaxed her to drink more, the feeling of having his blood drained from his veins barely AFFECTING the older vampire. Right now, satisfying her blood thirst was his main PRIORITY.
Dark eyes shifted up to watch the shadow’s disappear from the ground, being replaced by a bright light. Something that made his skin CRAWL. With the lack of shadow’s to move around in, they were stuck until dusk. After a few more seconds, Jerry removed his wrist from the youngers mouth, using his thumb to wipe away any blood that dripped from her mouth. “SLEEP. Tonight, we hunt.”

Head lifted from the neck of his VICTIM, blood dripping down his chin and onto his dark shirt. Black eyes found the werewolf, the smell earning a GRIMACE from the older creature. “No,” he wiped his mouth and stood. “we can’t have anything nice because DOGS like you always seem to ruin the fun.” head tilted as a low growl tore through his throat. “So, unless you want to end up as my new RUG, it would be in your best interest to LEAVE.”

He was hardly surprised an auror tracked him down. It happened on the odd occasion, nothing he couldn’t deal with. Ignoring the blood that trickled down his chin, the vampire gave him a smile. “I ain’t in any trouble, am I?” His tone was feigned innocence.
The man had no time for play, his manner was strictly business as he approached the vampire. Head was tilted to the side slightly, unimpressed with the tone of the other, frown deepening. “ Depends on if you have LOOKED at yourself recently. But my guess is you haven’t–so it can be hinted by the fact there’s blood on you. ” The auror pointed out.
Bringing his hand up, he wiped away any stray drops of blood, giving his fingers a quick lick afterwards. “I am a vampire, we have to eat. If you aren’t aware of our diet you can direct your attention to that alley.” He drawled out, h is tone sarcastic as he gave a small nod to the area behind him.

Propped up against the wall next to the church, Jerry’s gaze remained trained on the oldest of Mary Lou’s adopted children. He could wait until the sun went down to snack on him. But given the sun was currently up, he was trapped in the shade. Only another hour or so to go.
Tilting his head, he let out an over dramatic sigh of boredom. “Are you just going to stand there and stare at me all day? I would’ve assumed you’d be running for the hills after I tried to bite you.”
YOU ARE THE CREATURE PARENTS TELL THEIR CHILDREN ABOUT AT NIGHT. The man in the shadows is different and yet like him –––– a work of the devil. Credence gulps, feeling the fingers on his neck still, how he could just barely escape. Ma said vampires don’t exist but what else could he be? A cold chill runs down the young man’s back.
And yet he remains, as though frozen to the ground, staring at the man in the shade. Quickly, almost automatically, he made the sign of the cross. ‘ Be gone, DEMON. ’
He couldn’t help but bark a laugh. No matter how many time he had seen the gesture being done, it was still funny everytime. “Oh, I needed that today. You’ve just made my week, guy.” He didn’t have the heart to tell the younger man how stupid he looked doing that. Everyone who made the sign of the cross with their fingers looked stupid.
“The cross thing is only half true. Doesn’t count if you make it with your fingers.” He pushed himself off the wall as he spoke, and began slowly pacing in the space he had. “400 years, the amount of times I’ve seen that shit being pulled, it’s still funny.”
