HEART LIKE A WHEEL

I’m so glad I had the opportunity to participate in @deancasbigbang again this year and was matched with the wonderful @tragidean for yet another challenge!

This was challenging for me because I wanted to present the environments in focus rather than as a ‘background.’ They are as important as the model in the photography project the fic centers around. Environments/scenery aren’t my strong suit, but I think I’m getting better at it!

IF LOVE WAS A RIVER

Aaaaaah my goodness, I had the privilege of doing art for @tragidean​‘s fic for @deancaspinefest​. I’m a total sucker for space and wings and their fic is absolutely lovely.

I had a great time making this and went a little bit of a different route this time and did this traditionally rather than digitally. You can’t see it in the scan, but his wings shimmer!

Dean kicks off his work boots at the door, shrugging his coat onto the back of the couch as he follows his nose to the kitchen. He finds Cas standing at the stove in his sock-feet, frowning into a pot of warm, amber liquid. Dean steps on a few allspice berries that have fallen onto the floor as he sidles up behind him, reaching out to touch his warm body.

“Smells incredible, Cas..”

Oh my goodness I had such an amazing time working on these. CLOSED CIRCUITS

This was my second time participating in a challenge (and my first Destiel challenge) and I had an absolute blast. I had the opportunity to create art for @ozonecologne‘s wonderful fic, Closed Circuits, for the @deancastropefest

I set out to experiment a bit and I’m really pleased with the results!

STAY CLOSE TO ME I participated in my first bang challenge, @katsudonbang, and had a blast! My partner ended up being @ripuptheending and her fic is absolutely lovely. Lots of fun was had with everyone involved (special shout outs to @museaway & @jojodacrow) and I look forward to doing it again next time!
