trans boys are in need of protection. trans boys deserve protection. protect trans boys. love trans boys before they are dead.

Thinking thinking thinking about Leslie Feinberg in Outlaw talking about gender and zie described hirself as a “transgendered woman.” Leslie had ID’ed as “trans” but I had not heard til that interview zie saying “transgender(ed) woman.”
I know zie considered hirself still a lesbian, and something under a trans umbrella, and while many were quick to assign “trans man” or “transmasc” onto hir, I knew that somewhere in a sense of womanhood, zie identified with a woman-adjacent label still.
I had not considered zie would combine hir sense of womanhood with the label of trans but it makes complete sense, and gives a whole new layer to hir sense of sisterhood with (amab) trans women!
Zie was a woman in a transgressive, transitional, transgender(ed) way. A trans woman.
What a concept of gender and transness that would make so many spaces spit blood. But it makes total sense!
Oh, to have more people recognize the trans umbrella (and frankly entire queer umbrella) as a spectrum of transgressive gender and not as mirrors for cisheteropatriarchy.

Long Live The Black Parade 🗡️
My MCR show is today!!! I'm so excited, this tour has left me feeling so inspired so far, and I havent even experienced it for myself yet

gerard crawling off stage + blood
FROCALS DURING BOY DIVISION!!!
Watching the (belated) Shaky Knees MCR upload after the livestreams fiasco. Some lore/show change observations:
. This was a full-blown LLTBP show, much to my (and many of yalls) surprise.
. As noted, Gerard has a big triangle shaped cut across his face from the last visit to MOAT.
. No time clock prop present (at least that I can see).
. We are in "Atlanta, Brazil" according to Gerard.
. Gerard references the main LLTBP Tour in character to the audience, but says they are doing Shaky Knees for DRAAG because "plutonium costs money."
. Grand Immortal Dictator and Sylvia are set up on stage (likely a Shaky Knees staging limitation)
. That little European accent is all over the place, as usual. But Gerard keeps laughing manically through songs, in-character.
.No elexecution or voting cards (again, likely a staging limitation with Shaky Knees)
. Laugh track before "Black Parade"
. Interlude between "Black Parade" and "I Don't Love You" where Gerard asks the Grand Immortal Dictator how they've been doing, and explains to the audience he's who they really need to convince. He thanks the Dictator, says he's so handsome "one could just weep and weep and weep..."
. Pretty extensive argument between the Clerk and Gerard during the second note. Ends in a slap for the first time in two shows, and the laugh track.
. Gerard laughs through the "agony" line in "Cancer" and it drove a stake through my heart.
. Laugh track through the lyrics "we're all full of lies" in "Mama"
. The Gentleman is here. He has "nothing to say, but he likes to watch." This is pretty pointed when he spent a lot of Boston and Tampa talking to the audience and asking for help during "Mama." (also Gentleman freak confirmed lol)
. Sylvia is here, not Marianne. She notably fights leaving the stage when Gerard excuses her, and then fights with her handler (her father).
. Gerard reads "The Way of The Samurai" on stage, and not to the Gentleman.
. Zero resistance about the jacket. Clerk says something to Gerard beforehand (difficult to make out, would love to know)
. The clown/Clerk emerged during "The End (Reprise), and Gerard puts an arm around him. The clown is crying before he even stabs Gerard and seems to hesitate over the weapon. He can be seen crying on the phone to "mother" afterward.
. Mikey begs for mercy instead of shoving the Twins to the ground.
. The clown keeps stabbing Gerard after this, and kicks him. He also shouts something to him (I have some guesses, but I await the lip-reading). Bomb is as normal.
• Gerard crawls off stage while the clown is distracted and survives (is this a staging thing? A lore thing?)
