Important Announcement

Some big changes are coming to Featherwicks, some I’m sure many of you won’t be happy with. Within the next few months, Featherwicks will be moving to providing witchcraft and occult based items to more general goods. These general goods will be items that provide comfort and feed the soul, shop stock will range from candles to journals to recipes, home decor, jewelry, and more. This transition is in an effort to provide items of comfort, relaxation, and self-reflection. 

My greatest thanks to those in the witchcraft and occult community who have supported Featherwicks in it’s occult stages, I do hope that you find items that you enjoy in the new Featherwicks ad you did in the old Featherwicks.

Seasonessentials , when reblogging things from other people, especially when it’s their own pictures, don’t take away the source. When you take away the source you take away the credit of the person who took the picture, you discredit the work that they put into the picture. 

While this picture is a simple one of a few candles that I made, the text that you deleted was information about those candles and my shop where they can be bought. While my shop is a passion of mine, it is also a way for me to make ends meet financially, so by you taking off the information, you’re taking the opportunity for me to draw in more customers, to get my information out there. 

Not only is it rude to take away a photographer/artist’s credit, but it’s also unethical and just an all around crappy thing to do. Now on top of that, you’re taking away the potential for me to bring in more income by taking the shop information off. Does that seem fair to you?
