A review and demonstration of the MeCam Personal Video Camera. MeCam boasts they product the world's smallest personal video camera. While I don't know whether those claims are true, I do know it is about 2" diagonally across. This video footage is taken outside, on a brisk sunny but cloudy day. The MeCam is pinned to my label area and I am slowly walking through a park. My feelings about the MeCam are mixed, so I prefer to let the video footage speak for itself. It is a small, fun novelty camera. But I think the $69.99 price point is a little high for the quality, considering I get smoother video from my smart phone. MeCam Pros (Listed at the end of this video): * Small and discreet * Pin on or wear as a necklace * Mac users can import the videos from Photos Apple App * Fairly easy to use * You can get some interesting images or video footage MeCam Cons (listed at the end of this video): * There is no monitor so you cannot see what you are recording, so far I have only recorded the sky and ceiling when pinned to my lapel area. * The video footage is quite shaky and low resolution. * The build feels fairly cheap, the MeCam's pin is basically a safety pin. To be fair, the MeCam's suggested retail price is around $69.99. The MeCam is available on Amazon. Or through http://www.mecam.me/ Disclosure: I received a free MeCam to review.
