was revenge really nico’s outlet to deal with grief though...

minos does coerce him into following his plan by saying “do you not want revenge for your sister?” but isn’t it more just him desperately trying to bargain for a way to get bianca back... nico just refused to accept bianca’s death was irreversible and just wanted her back and his anger just fueled him... i don’t think he wanted revenge he just wanted his life back. just another aspect of him fatally failing to let things go.

the distinction was between justice and vengeance!!! like minos was trying to convince nico he would get justice by getting revenge whereas for nico getting justice just means getting bianca back... you’re right that distinction is important it shows minos’ motivation and how he exploits nico’s grief as a means of end and how nico was just coerced and manipulated and had no malicious intent at first... hmm
