I’ve been gone from this tumblr for sooo long but I’m hoping be more frequent in blogging, especially now that I’m physically away from America now!
I’m learning Illustrator and using this photoshop piece for an exhibition happening soon as the test piece to try translating my images into vector, fingers crossed it all turns out well!

Currently editing my website now so it’s down but I’m so into how cute the construction page looks!!
Made a stop motion GIF as my final piece on food emojis for my internship at NPR for AD Ben de la Cruz! Started out with the usual sketches with this idea as the champ, and made a sculpey mockup with digital coloring to get a sense of the stop-motion possibility, since I’ve never done something quite like this. Moved on to sculpt the final pieces with digital coloring as a color sketch and then painted the pieces IRL. Brought it into a makeshift lightbox and got it shot with the help of some pals, made them move and color corrected, and voila!
I’m taking a stop-motion course next semester so I’m hoping to do more of these. Hope everyone’s winter break is going well!
